Jovial Club is a true South Side gem. I swung by for a Friday night bite and had the ribeye steak sandwich with grilled onions and fries, with a couple of Old Styles. The steak was juicy, the fries crispy, and the vibe was just right. The horseshoe-shaped bar gives it a classic feel, and the staff made me feel like a regular. Definitely coming back for their next live music night.

OMG, I loved this place. The vibe is just amazing. It has an old-world charm that took me back to a better time, like back to being with my grandparents. The place is a beautiful time machine, it will take you back to the Chicago of Big Shoulders. I am so happy to have discovered this gem of a place. The food is terrific, drinks are great, service is great, staff is friendly. Everything just felt great at the Jovial Club! If your a local, you are lucky to have this place, if you are not, make a trip, it's worth it!

I am a regular at Jovial and I love the bartenders and the owner is great and her cooking is Awesome! I don’t believe you can get a bad meal at Jovial. The atmosphere is relaxing and the music is always playing with all the great DJs!
