Get transported to a tiny French cafe at the northern end of Lincoln Park.
We were delighted to see that La Creperie, which has been around since 1972 but closed for a few years, is back and just as charming as ever.
Occupying a long narrow space mid block, the cafe is filled with furnishing and artwork reminiscent of a tiny Bistro in France.
The menu includes salads as well as a variety of savory and sweet crepes.

This is such a cute spot settled in a busy area! They have a good menu of crepes, a little pricy but it’s a specialty food in a nice area. The Nutella crepe was very good but a new style of crepe for me as I’m used to the fluffy kind this was solid and crunchy but good!! No wait to be seated and we were able to sit in the garden - but bring bug spray in the summer because I got bit 😅 Overall a cute spot to get your sweet or savory crepe fix!
I love this restaurant and have been coming for years. It is cozy and quaint and just a special place. The food is always good (if you don't like crepes, there are a few non-crepe dishes, but I've never tried them) with a nice variety of options (vegetarian/seafood/chicken/beef). Decent wine list. I usually get the Nutella crepe for dessert, but be sure to ask for a steak knife to make it easier to cut through the crispy goodness. When the weather is nice, definitely...
