They made 2 minced meat pies for me. We couldn't wait till Thanksgiving, had to try some. It's the BEST pie I ever had. Made the old fashioned way. Crust was excellent and the fruit was plump and delicious. Definitely a get again!

Ever since We moved to the area we have been purchasing birthday cakes for all occasions from here ! My husband walked in one day for a cake and we have been hooked ever since. Now my five star rating is based on the flavoring of the rainbow cake. Outstanding !! Also walking in last minute on a Saturday and I believe who was the owner said there weren't any ready to go 8 inch rainbows left but he said if I came back in half an hour he would make me one ! How awesome is that. For my daughters birthday too I could cry ! Thank you

First experience, ordered a pumpkin roll for Thanksgiving last year, ( ordered a week I advanced) went to pick it up they said "we couldn't make it because we're short staffed". They never called us to inform us of this.....VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! So we decided not to shop there. My boyfriend wanted a cake so he's in the area and forgot why we weren't shopping there anymore and he picked up 2 cakes, a strawberry shortcake and a black Forest cake. This was on a Saturday September 3rd 2022, as we tried the black Forest cake it was old the cherry filling tasted like a cheap alcohol and the whipped cream was dried out. We didn't even bother to try the strawberry shortcake, so this is it no more this place needs to be shut down, and the health inspectors need to be informed!!

That's for the rainbow cake! It's outstanding! I grew up near here but moved many many years ago. This was very often our go-to family birthday cake. Last week when my nephew was in from out of town, we had a spread of many Chicago only foods as our theme. I decided to go pick up a cake from La Petite and I have to say it seemed even better than I remembered! So moist, great whipped cream and the fruit was fresh. Outstanding!!
