Pine Valley cheeseburgers are so delicious, but sometimes the burgers aren't completed with everything. Today I bought 4 burgers, an when I got home none of them had any lettuce on them. A burger with everything means everything! Can't have a complete burger without lettuce. Other than that, it was good.

The food was very good. Has street parking on Roosevelt or 16th. My biggest complaint is the store didn't have any menus. Seems like they were making up prices on the fly.

As I sit here watching Ch5 news I see that The New Pine Valley restaurant is closing... What a memory I pray the owners see my testimony ... I'm soon to be 64yrs old...I was born on the westside of Chicago... I lived in an apartment building directly across from William Penn Elementary which I attended in the 60's, the bldg has long been demolished... along with the Marcy-Newberry center in the 1500 of south Springfield. I just wanted to say that Pine Valley gave me my 1st job as a dishwasher...I cherish that memory.... Thank you.
