The sea food was the freshest possible and the 2 rolls I had, with soft shell crab and eel were of exquisite taste. Appetizers were delicious, especially the rich green salad with ginger dressing. The dry cold sake, recommended by the waiter, was very good, their list being impressive.

We went here for restaurant week and it was definitely worth it. This was by far our favorite meal we’ve had this month. All the fish was so fresh, and the flavors from the sauces all worked so well with each other. The mochi ice cream and the cocktails were also great. The service was top notch. We’ll definitely be back again.

Best restaurant week deal I've come across!! A 5 course meal with two rolls and some sashimi, nigiri, apps, and dessert?! Sign me up!! The blue truffle sashimi was to die for! I want to go back and try their omekase

I would eat here every day if I could. I love bringing new people here and having them experience the unique signature rolls. The entire staff is top notch, welcoming and friendly, very attentive. My clients love it, my family and friends love it, but no one loves it more than me! Best Sushi and Rolls in Chicago!

Received great service the entire time. The noise wasn't too loud, but enough energy. We did restaurant week menu and we were SHOCKED by how much food was included. Quality of sushi was amazing and recommend to anyone that is questioning.

We went for Restaurant Week. Amazing food and excellent value. It was their first year doing Restaurant Week so they were behind on orders and service took some time. I'm sure they will work out the kinks though, and the food was worth the wait!

We were seated at 7:50 for an 8pm reservation and didn't get our first course until over an hour later at 9pm. With the 4 course restaurant week menu, it took us a full three hours to get to the final course. At that point it was 10:50 and I was exhausted so I didn't even eat the final course (mochi), I just wanted to go to bed. I know it wasn't the servers fault but he was apathetic at best. However, I will say that the food was very good. Not worth the 3 hours it took to get all of it, but very fresh and tasty.

First, they get credit for being open on Christmas Day and short staffed as a result. This made their service level even more impressive. Yes, the kitchen ran a little slow, but the servers were very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. The sashimi and nigiri were high quality. Beer selection was excellent. The tiger shrimp with gochujang and Italian spices were a strange combo (I'm Korean), but they worked. Overall, a solid experience but nothing terribly original.

A true culinary experience. A legend before the west loop was the “west loop.” If you would like to be treated to some of the best flavors in the world and amazing service then stop by. I always go with omakase and you can mention any dislikes, allergies etc. everything is amazing and spectacular. Deserves a Michelin star if not two...just try it already.

The food here is not worth the price. Go elsewhere for your sushi. There are better options in the area.
