My wife and I visit family in Decatur every Summer. We discovered TKG's last year and loved it. Had to go back this year and it was just as good as we remembered. Such wonderfully friendly owners. We will go back before we head home. WhoopWhoop

To start, my family and I just moved to the area from south Houston Texas, we were on a drive and decided to pick up lunch on our way back home, my wife wanted wings! So at first glance it looks homey. When I walked in I was greeted as if I was back in the south! Super friendly and treated me as family! We ordered wings, fries, fried mushrooms, Mac and cheese, and of course the cheesecake minis they had. They gave my wife and I little testers of the rest of their sides, witch were all amazing, I would recommend the cornbread stuffing and the candied yams, the wings were amazing, crispy and juicy on the inside. Got 3 flavors based off their recommendation and could not be happier with all of them, mainly the Cajun Parmesan garlic. The desert was awesome! Reminded us of a warm toaster strudels but better and in a egg roll shape and wrapper. I have eaten at quite a few places in my time and very few leave an impact on me like this place did, I think they have gotten another customer for life and would highly recommend anyone to them to anyone wanting an amazing down south soul food with the matching hospitality!

This was my first time experiencing TKG’S and I questioned myself as to why I waited so long! Absolutely delicious! I had mild flavor wings and they were fresh, cooked to order, and perfect! The sides reminded me of Holidays! And let’s not forget that delicious tasting koolaid! ?? The restaurant is very clean and cozy and their customer service is welcoming and Awesome! Definitely a 10/10! I will be back to try more. (Using my daughters google to leave review)

The Cajun Parmesan Ranch wings are the best wings I've ever tasted ... I am a wing lover so Believe me when I tell you. The sides taste like they were cooked with nothing but love. I'm from GA , I'm traveling and This place is a 5 star must visit. I hope to see again in my lifetime of living :)

I have ate quite a few wings, quite a few places around here, I had just been introduced to TKG a few weeks ago, we order them at work, I work with the owners son, cool dude! I was totally won over by the wings, I've only had 2 flavors, but the ones I've had are CPR and bourbon, they were amazing! Cooked just right too, nice and crunchy without all kinds of slimy skin sliding off. I'll be back for sure! Thanks guys!

Had to make an emergency stop w 3 small scared kids during a 7 hr drive back home from vaca during a thunderstorm. They were so friendly & just the sweetest two ladies and customers too. They made us great comfort food, and the kiddos loved the koolaid, cookies and the whoop whoops. This unplanned stop along hwy 51, was the highlight of our trip back home to Il. Thank you so much for your kind heart, blessings and great food.

I visited this place for the first time on 6/17. Last customer of the day. After a warm greeting, they guided me to order some of their specialties. Wings and walleye. The wings, regular and parmigiana crusted were fantastic! The walleye, according to my son who devoured it, was excellent! The people working there were as nice as I have ever experienced and the place was clean clean clean.My only complaint was they were sold out of the shrimp.I highly recommend eating here
