Been going to Munchies since I was 3 years old, a true Elk Grove staple of the community, great prices, great pizza and food, and amazing atmosphere. Will be missed.

I used to eat here way back in the day (when I was in high school) I told my husband that they may close and wanted him to try the pizza. The restaurant is still decorated the exact same as I remember from 1990's except they have gambling machines now. The lady who took our order said they only have bottled water (so I took a star off) because we don't drink sodas and wanted some tap water. We spent $33 for my husband and I to dine in. Appetizers = we shared an order of chicken wings (three were tiny and had barely any meat) and mozzarella sticks which were great, I love the tomato dipping sauce! We ordered a small pepperoni thin crust pizza, it was just ok. I used to remember the pizza being amazing. It was good but I would not come out of my way to dine here again. If you have not been here in a while better dine here again soon. I heard on Facebook that the strip mall was sold / or is for sale and they are going to be closing.

This place is an absolute staple of elk Grove local pizza, their sauce is the best in the surrounding towns, and I have tried a lot. I pick up from Munchies as often as I can even though I have moved further away because nothing near me gers even close to how good their pizza is. Their pan pizza is my favorite, and the owners (mother and son) know me just by my order. They are so incredibly friendly and always ask about my family. My family loves their jumbo friends and like to get the Italian beef on garlic bread.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggies options for toppingsParking: Tons of open spacesKid-friendliness: Lots of room for families to come in and sit. A great place to take the team after games.

Pie had more dough than usual so it's thicker but I'd rather have thicker toppings. Good work break meal though

I’ve been dining in that restaurant for over 20 years. I love the lasagna cheesy garlic, bread and wine. Slice of cheese pizza french fries are all my go to Food and it’s always delicious.
Always good food. I use to work in the area but I now work further away however I still go hear once in a while the best baked pasta. They are a family owned business always great service good food. I had them cater my mom party back in November 2022 everyone loved the pasta .

I don't know how to write this since my fingers are covered in pizza parts. That might sound bad, but let me explain. I was recommended Munchies after sharing my horror stories of finding a good pizza place in Elk Grove Village IL with my neighbor. He said he had been going there for decades. I guess since he is still alive the food didn't kill him. But, I'm going to give it my best shot. Three weeks ago I went there and had nice banter with the young lady who claims to be older than 39, took my order. After being called Honey a few times, I knew this was a good place from her attitude alone. Political correctness has taken over the quality of anything. Anyway...I ordered the same as all the others I've reviewed. To my surprise when I got to the car, (They don't do delivery) I had to fight my dogs for the pizza. (Just kidding) I opened the box to check it out. Hmm, interesting. It's not flooded with grease. I took one piece. Then another, then another, then another. By the time I got home (15 minutes away), the pizza was cashed. The dogs each got a piece, after all, I'm not selfish. I ate the rest. I lied. I sat in the parking lot at my building to finish it. So it was gone BEFORE I got home. That is sad for me because I wanted to watch television and eat pizza. Today, 8/30/23 I asked them to tape the box shut but they didn't which meant I had to use total control. I was not going to eat the entire pizza or even open the box. Yeah right. Three pieces went to stomach heaven before leaving the parking lot. THIS TIME though, I did manage to not eat the whole pizza before I got to the parking lot. Only 1/2 this time. Hey...I'm cutting back. AND instead of watching TV, I'm leaving this review because Lenny and his older sister? Deserve more reviews than they get. I believe if the service is great the place deserves just as much attention if not more, than the ones that suck. Munchies, I tip my hand to you, except it's full of pizza stuff.

What's not to love about Munchies? The pizza is amazing. It's one of the best places to get pizza. Worth the drive out to the suburbs for their amazing beer battered crust. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is super friendly. You can see a lot of regulars dining in. The bar is cute. And there's even a little spot with gambling machines. Great place for a nice bite to eat.
