While I enjoy this coffee shop, there are a few issues that keep me from giving them a 5 star.1. For the quantity given, and quality of the product, I feel their beverages and pastries are quite overpriced.2. As Chicago gets very cold in the winter, it is important to have a good heating system. However, every time I come here during the colder months, it is FREEZING on the inside. After asking the staff if they could raise the temperature, they do not do so.3. Lastly, a suggestion, I think it would be very beneficial to your business, and a nice touch to the Evanston community if you stayed open a little later. It is nice to come after school/work and get coffee, but when you close at 5p it is very hard to do this. I strongly suggest keeping your coffee shop open longer.Otherwise, a decent spot with pleasant baristas.

Beautiful coffee shop with a good number of tables to hunker down and get work done. Special shoutout to their pour overs! I’ve always been skeptical of coffee tasting notes but I tried the Ethiopian udeyi and I kid you not, it actually tastes like watermelon. Awesome experience!

I've been coming here for years. I think it's a great aesthetic. Inside, always very clean and well taken care of. The baked goods are all made fresh in-house and they know exactly what's in them. Baked items always change because it depends on what's available at hand.Staff here are always friendly and polite. They are all very knowledgeable about the coffee and the items they sell. Wonderful place.Vegetarian options: There are a few baked deserts labelled vegan or vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: They have great milk alternatives, they also will tell you if they put milk in the recipe for the baked goods. Highly recommend this place.

Love this place. It has become my go-to cafe to work at after work. I usually get a chai latte (several non-dairy options) and a pastry. Today I had a delicious sweet potato pie. The service is always friendly. The space is bright and modern, which helps with my productivity. It gets busy, but I've always been able to find seating.
