I can't begin to explain how delicious everything was! For starters, I don't ever eat crab cakes but I tried them and they were DELISH! Next, I had the rolls. They were so good I didn't want to share! LOL! I had the salad with the balsamic vinegarette and it was so fresh and delish! For the main course, I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was FIRE!!!!! LOVED IT! Finally, I had the warm brownie dessert with Gelato and OMG it was soooo good!!! I honestly loved everything about this place from meeting Yvette (Owner and Executive Chef) to the ambiance and the food! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Can't wait to go back and take all of my friends!

Was really expecting a nice place and it was just kind of blah. Food was good, but potatoes were not seasoned. I ordered the maple pecan crusted salmon which was really good but the potatoes had absolutely no seasoning half of them were burned and they were just squishy. The green beans that came with them looked amazing, but tasted kind of spoiled not sure how they were cooked maybe it was butter that sat out too long in the warmth of the kitchen. My husband's food was ok. I ordered wine and it took 20 minutes to get it. They waitress was nice, friendly and personable, but took a long time to get things and there were only 3 tables filled in the place. We don't plan on going back

I love this place. I went to lunch with my real estate friend. We were there for a business lunch. I had a margarita and a chicken pizza. The chef and staff amazing!!! I love the atmosphere! Really enjoyed and will be coming back often

This was our first visit and it was fantastic. The setting was very clean, the staff were professional and courteous, and the food was amazing and affordable. We only had one regret: That we were too satiated to finish the dinner. So, we took home the extras to enjoy. My wife and I heard about the restaurant previously and considered visiting. Once we realized that its owned by an African-American woman, who is also the chef, we decided to give it a try. It was absolutely worth the visit. Now, we're discussing coming to the restaurant at least on a monthly basis. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food! The outdoor setting was cute and peaceful, overlooking downtown Flossmoor. I ordered the Blackened Pork Chop-it was huge and juicy. Added a baked potato on the side and it was cooked perfectly, not too hard or too soft. The service was good, friendly, and prompt. I would definitely return!

The vibe! The food! The gracious attentiveness of the service! We LOVED our experience at The Bistro on Sterling, and will be returning. I had a glorious summer salad with salmon, and a dish of salted caramel gelato for dessert, and my husband had a perfectly prepared wedge romaine salad and the most delicious side order of meatballs. Side note-- we noticed a lot of laughter among the other diners, and I think that speaks to the relaxed, positive vibe. Maybe that's what makes The Bistro sparkle?
I really enjoyed this restaurant. I got a lovely salmon dish. It was light, flavorful and cooked to perfection. I went with three other people and all of their dishes were fantastic as well.
