I travel for work and I’ve been to this restaurant three times now because after the first bad experience, I decided to follow it up and give it another shot and the second experience I had was OK so I decided to go back again which was a mistake, and the third time was even worse than the first time. Many things went wrong even the simple easy stuff like my glass being dirty and not getting silverware and not being checked on for 25+ minutes even though I got the endless shrimp. On top of this the bartender didn’t know if she had bourbon and then after I told her what bourbon was, she did not know obviously what an old fashion is. The food itself was fine and I probably would’ve gotten more shrimp Had anybody asked me instead I ran out of time and just cashed out. So when I went to cash out the bartender explained to me, the kitchen was busy even though I was the only one at the bar and as she gave me my tab, she literally stood right in front of me and watched/waited for me to sign it and hand it back to her. I will certainly not be coming back here and I would highly recommend you give it a second thought if you planned on coming here.
Our server was great. My husband enjoyed his shrimp. I ordered a Ceasar Salad and a Sirloin Steak (because I am watching carbohydrates) and wow the Sirloin Steak was the toughest "steak" I've had. I make Sirloin Steak in my oven pretty often so I'm pretty picky with Steak and theirs was pretty bad. I know it's a seafood place but at least not serve items if they are incapable of grilling a good quality cut of meat. Also the Ceasar Salad was drenched in dressing and was soggy.
Wouldn’t come back to this location if you paid me. Waited for over 20 minutes after my estimated pick up time for a pick up order, didn’t remotely have the correct order brought when it was, mentioned this and the fact that during my time sitting there with no drink or anything in front of me not a single person asked if I needed help (even though the manager had time to chit chat with the people next to me at the bar) to management and got nothing more than a sorry. No offer of a discount or coupon for my next visit. Piss poor service.
My wife and I love this Forsyth Illinois Red Lobster. Always have excellent food and services, from the hostess Marilyn to all of the servers...excellent, services!!! ALL 5IVE ? STARS!Food: 5/5
Been here 4 times. Mostly the food is great but sometimes some subpar choices slip through the cracks. Lobster bisque was not good, shrimp was amazing, broccoli was over cooked once, biscuits are always great. Just seems hit or miss sometimes but generally the entree is quite tasty.
One of the best meals n service we have had in a long time.
GREAT! Everything was perfect and tasted great. The food came out hot and fresh, and our server didn't allow me to run out of tea. Like I told my wife, this visit by far, was the best experience we've had here in a long time! Keep up the great work!
Horrible. Our server was rude and distant, always at another table talking to her friend. Waited 20 minutes for a refill. Waited over 30 minutes for our entrees; when they came out, they were cold as ice. Lettuce was old and brown. Food tasted terrible because cold seafood is nasty. Asked for a to-go box so we can take our food home and microwave it, and waited another 10 minutes for the boxes. Truly terrible service and bad food. I've never had an experience like this at any restaurant I've ever been to before. We will never come to this place again. Absolutely deplorable.
Love going to Red Lobster. Took my daughter for her birthday and we ate a whole platter of seafood. Great food great service.
Came out for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Our server, Michelle, was excellent. We enjoyed the Parrot Island Shrimp, Sailors Platter and of course the Cheddar Biscuits.Everything arrived at our table hot and deliciously cooked.Coffee was great too!
We rarely go here, however we will come again and were very pleased with the quality of the dishes. Salmon, Shrimp, biscuits, rice, etc. Wife had lobster (not in shell), I think with crab. Forget the name but she wants healthy food and great flavor and gave this a real thumbs up. I had a meal in the 20's and took half home. So good the next day. Wife had a meal in the teens, and we brought her baked potato and dressings home for me with my left over. Oh ps: the sauce was so awesome. Should have taken a picture for you.
When we want Red Lobster, we drive all the way from Champaign to eat at this location because the food is always exactly as it should be. Steaks are always cooked perfectly and food is on point every time! It is not the most updated location in terms of design and it feels old, but again, the food is GOOD. We usually get steak, lobster, crab legs, muscles, and some shrimp. My only complaint is they use bagged lettuce for salad and you can taste it.
