Our take out order wasn’t correct so when we called to make sure we weren’t overcharged, it turned out to be a misunderstanding during ordering. Even though we weren’t overcharged, the manager still accommodated us and it was a very pleasant phone call.The food we got was absolutely delicious and we are absolutely returning for their service. Sal's is just the typical small in town pizza place. What sets it apart is the Pizza is SO good. We always get a meatball pizza. The meatballs are very good. Never had a bad pizza here. You can eat in if you'd like. Nothing fancy, small bar area. Just has that cozy been around a long time feel. When people ask where to get good pizza to Sal's is the only name we give out

In an age of "shrinkflation," Sal's heaps the fresh ingredients on the best pizza in Northern Illinois. Tonight my wife and I dined in at Sal's; we were waited on by a terrific, friendly server, named Heather. We started with the Zucchini Fries: delicious; then a thin-crust, "Lapsed-Vegetarian Special" (that's not an actual menu item, it's a Vegetarian Special WITH Pepperoni), and it was absolutely mouth-watering, piled high with every ingredient. Sal's never misses the mark. And take my advice, no matter how small your party, just order a Large, so you have the leftovers to enjoy later.

Quaint little restaurant in the center of historic downtown Huntley. Have tried both the thin crust and deep dish pan pizzas and found both to be of excellent quality and taste. It's definitely the best choice in the area.Parking: There are a couple spaces for street parking, but there is ample parking in a lot half a block away.

I called for a delivery order tonight. I tried to order a meatball sandwich with onions and the girl who answered the phone said they were told they are not allowed to put onions on that sandwich. She then said she could do peppers, but not onions. I offered to pay an upcharge - still no. I asked if I could order a side of onions - no. I asked if they even had onions and she said they did but she could not help me with my request. What kind of a cheap, micromanaging tyrant of a boss would make such a dumb rule?! Absolutely ridiculous.

Originally living in the city of Chicago, I am SUPER picky about my pizza!!! I don’t like the “chain store” pizzerias at all! They taste like tomato sauce on cardboard to me. Sal’s Pizza on the other hand by far is the closest thing to what I consider a true “Chicago Pizza” experience!!! It is the most delicious pizza in this area that I have had. The staff is pleasant to work with, and try their best to get special orders correct, even if your husband asks for some ridiculous pie shape cut when he orders! The food is on time, hot, and fresh. Unfortunately, we are not in their delivery zone so I cannot make a comment on that, but I will say for me…ITS WORTH THE DRIVE!!!Vegetarian options: You can customize your pizza with vegetarian options!

Actually did delivery. Service was fast and food hot. Salad was fresh and no wilted or brown lettuce! I had cheese ravioli with meat sauce and it was just like my mom used to make. Nothing fancy, just tender pillows of pasta and cheese and the sauce was perfect! Not all those fancy spices people add now!

Second time ive been here and very tastey. Lighter on sauce and heavier on the cheese. Just the way i like it. Toppings are fresh tasting and the cust is some of the best ive had. Crispy yet bready. Fyi the town square is right outside so get it to go and sit outside at one of the many tables to enjoy it when the weathers nice.

We were very disappointed with the pizza that arrived yesterday. The delivery was on time. The pizza that was mostly veggies was somewhat dry with the edges being very dry. It was not as hot as it should have been. The salad that we ordered was mostly cabbage, and Lettuce with a few pieces of tomato and cucumber. The dressing was like a very cheap bottled dressing. Creamy garlic. The salad was called large and was in about a 6 inch bowl. It was between eight and nine dollars – definitely not worth it.
