While I was sad to see The Pancake Cafe go, Fork & Spoon has conquered the big task of filling their shoes. This is my favorite place to pick up lunch on the way home after a morning of running errands. The chicken and spinach panini is my go to! My only note is that the to go drinks are quite small for the price.Parking: I usually go there during the lunch rush so the spots closest to the restaurant are usually filled but since it's in a strip mall area there's plenty more spots just a bit farther down.

Great place! Have been several times and each time has been great! Huge menu with the typical breakfast options and some unique dishes when you want to switch it up. Happy to have this place in Lemont and will keep coming back ?

The worst. Not busy. The only thing that came out hot was the coffee. When the butter doesn't melt on the French toast there's a problem. Eggs hashbrowns all cold. Left without eating. Asked the waitress where it went wrong she couldn't tell me. Worst ever.

I've been coming here for breakfast for awhile now. But my recent visit was my last. Scrambled eggs were undercooked on the inside, the potatoes were bland, and the bacon was like fake or something. I couldn't even finish eating it.

This place is great! Large portions , topnotch servers, plenty of elbow room, lots of parking and great breakfasts. My only complaint is the coffee is mediocre. I will admit I'm very picky about coffee. I drive a semi and I can park it there ( at least I can at 0700 before the lot gets busier)

Great food, great service, exceptionally clean place. Have had breakfast and lunch there and both are exceptional Will definitely go back.
I've been there for lunch as well as breakfast and not only is there plenty of parking but the food is fresh, hot and has very friendly service. Highly recommend chicken dumpling soup, as well as the many delicious breakfast options. Very welcoming and you'll always leave full and happy.

I went here with a friend for breakfast. We noticed on a glass that there was a lipstick mark on the supposedly clean cup, clear as day. I was drinking out of a coffee mug and that made me lose my taste for the coffee. I figured breakfast will be better. I asked for a different cup and pointed at the glass and the waitress (who was super polite throughout out visit) grabbed it quickly. She went to the kitchen and grabbed new ones without commenting on it. Right when the food came out mine (hashbrowns/poached eggs/smoked sausage), the food was luke warm at best. I'm not entirely sure how the food was nearly cold when it presumably just came off the stove as the waitresses were running back and forth out of the kitchen. There were also two-three annoying fruit flies (bigger than average fruit flies might I add, big enough to see yet small enough to miss when you try to hit them) at our booth near the kitchen. The lipstick fiasco was enough to not make me want to come here again as it truly made me lose a lot of my appetite.

Ate here Monday afternoon for the second time. The restaurant is clean, I was greeted and seated swiftly. I ordered the chicken and spinach panini with fries and soup. The chicken noodle soup was a bit over peppered but tasty. The sandwich was a huge fail, the bottom bread was wet and soggy, the spinach was like sauteed spinach and the tomato was not an oven roasted tomato because it was also wet. If a customer orders a panini, it is expected for the bread to be toasted and firm not wet and soggy. I would revisit this restaurant but I would not order a sandwich, I will stick to breakfast meals.
