this is hands down the best pho in the area. the flavors are rich, authentic, and comforting — you can tell every bowl is made with care. what truly sets this place apart, though, is the family who runs it. they are so warm and welcoming; the mother even took a moment to play with my baby and made us feel right at home. it’s rare to find a restaurant where the food is outstanding and the people are so genuine. a wonderful experience all around — we’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious, I ordered a chicken pho and it was perfect!!
The service was a little slow, but granted they had a party of maybe 14 or so when my buddy and I went, none the less the service was on point.

This used to be my favorite place to eat. After 5 years of being away I finally came back and my friend wanted a bowl of pho and I said I know a great place! Boy was I wrong! We walked in and we were told my the server to sit anywhere.
We both ordered the number 31, Pho Dac Biet as well as an order of spring rolls. It was about 15 minutes until our spring rolls arrive and about 30 minutes until we got our bowl of pho. The spring rolls smelled like they were rolled on a dirty rag. They smelled bad. They were also missing ingredients inside them. The pho broth was way too sweet, it had too much ginger. There was very little meat and they gave me half the noodles they were supposed to be in my bowl.
It's clear they are choosing profits over quality now.. It was so disappointing because I remember this place once being the go to for pho. That's not the case anymore...
We also had to wave the server down because she was not very tentative to us. I love supporting small businesses but when they deserve it. To give me half of what I paid for is just plain theft.
Overall. Dont waste your time.. there is better pho out there.. just make the drive.

I love this place so much probably the best Vietnamese restaurant around, I went to another Vietnamese restaurant in Salt Lake City and the Salt Lake city restaurant did not compare to Pho Kho Gia Lai that's how good they are on my opinion. The serving size for the pho are huge so for 16 bucks its a great deal, I love the pho types chicken beef or seafood their all amazing with a flavorful broth. Highly recommend stopping by if you've never had Vietnamese food before.

It was delicious! Reasonably priced too. I got #38 which was pho with steak, tripe and tendon and my husband got the chicken pho. Great service. Will return for sure!

Important notice:
I haven't try this restaurant so I won't give any comments on price service and taste.
Anyway
If you are off for one day i understand. But if you are having a vacation for entire week, which means you probably already have a plan at least a week ago and Google map still showing open will be rediculous. I can't imagine how many people will go to this place with hungry stomach and need to find other place to eat
By the way happy vacation

I get the vegetarian bahn mi here regularly and it is always delicious! Fast service, friendly staff, and amazing food!
I decided to try this place because I was craving pho, but unfortunately, it was the most disappointing pho I’ve ever had. I’ve been traveling in Vietnam since the early 2000s, so I understand it’s unrealistic to expect the same authenticity and quality outside of Vietnam. However, this experience fell far below even basic expectations. The broth was cold and lacked flavor, the bean sprouts weren’t fresh, and the sauce tasted nothing like what you’d find in Vietnam. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
