If you want quality sushi and sashimi, then this is the place to go! Don't let the "hole-in-the-wall" ambiance restrain you from experiencing great and healthy food. The service was very good and the owner and sushi chef were quite warm and charming. Many locals go to this small but delightful restaurant.

Here visiting Chicago and found this amazing place. Fresh sushi- the rice was perfectly cooked and fish was very fresh. Service was great- the owner personally greeted me, giving me "hometown" vibes. Great food and service; would recommend to anyone.

This is not really a sit down place, which I couldn't tell from my google search of sushi near by (I'm not from this area). But it did not stop them from letting me sit at a little high top to eat. The brother and sister running it were very friendly and hospitable!

The sushi roll I had was ok but over priced for what this place is. It's a tiny hole in the wall restaurant. Also they CHARGE FOR WATER! Two dollars for a $0.25 bottle of generic water! If you treat your customers as fools and try to take advantage of them don't expect any return visits.

I ordered sushi from here tonight for the first time. The people are SO friendly and the sushi is really fresh. They made the experience great from the moment I walked in. They were genuinely happy to have my business. I went with the Super Crunch Tuna and the Ocean 9. Both were great choices! They had a deal on their website that gives you a FREE miso soup for orders over $25 so that was an even nicer perk! I will order from here again!

First time at Simply Sushi was delicious! I got the Super Crunch Tuna & Ocean 9. Both delicious! The second time I ordered I got both the tuna and salmon versions of the super crunch. So good. I also had the spider roll which was also very good. Definitely my new spot for sushi!
