My nephew is friends with the owner and loves their food and wanted me to try it and I have to say I was very impressed. The chicken Parmesan was top-notch and the garlic rolls with the garlic inside delicious and prices that you can’t beat!

Leaving NY and being banished to this desolate wasteland with not a decent slice in site was my original feeling when I moved to Chicago. But beyond all the locals lying and sending you to horrid spot after horrid spot there is a break in the rain, a light in the dark, there is Tony and Brunos with an authentic NY slice, great espresso, and a brick oven. I am unable to describe how incredibly happy this slice of pizza has made me. I am bringing home two pies to share with neighbors. And yeah it's slices and pies not square cuts out of a circle. Ya weirdos. Who would ever cut anything like that anyway?

Nestled in the top floor of the mall, this is one of the few places where you can order a decent meal at a reasonable cost compared to the other places in the mall. They have single slice pizzas which are pretty tasty and they have pasta. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with a side of penne and marinara sauce. It was also accompanied by a side of garlic bread. The bread was soft and fresh. It was a perfect pairing with the penne. They also offer salads and soup. The pasta was made to order which was a delightful surprise as I wasn't expecting made to order food inside a mall. They also offered a variety of gelato which I passed up this time but definitely looking to trying some next time. They took their time cooking my dish and it came out perfectly. The dining area was nicely dispersed across the restaurant area. There was ample amount of tables to sit at. The vibe was chill and it was actually pretty peaceful while eating. I would visit again if I was in the area.

Well I was a little impressed by their brick oven Pizza especially originally the pizza margarita which is what pizza should be despite in the world of deep dish pizza and full-scale restaurant inside what was once a great upscale mall in Northbrook Court California Pizza which to me is overrated and overpriced. I'd stumbled upon this Italian Cafe near the corner where Macy's or Marshall Fields used to be long time ago. The pizza despite after coming from the Seattle Sutton's diet was actually very fresh and delicious especially the crust much more authentic or truly Italian made and what is a franchise in America for pizza. Sticking with my diet I got the Greek salad with balsamic vinegar closest to a Mediterranean diet. Was going to go for the lentil soup of the day but trying to really lower my sodium I'm sure the lentil soup was delicious as well. I indulge on a small cup of gelato before I head out to Neiman Marcus and head out to get a haircut other than that if this is still around to try this underrated Italian Cafe. I had stumbled upon this Cafe because I was buying a painting at the Glenview arts display in the mall and the food looks delicious so I had to give it a try and make it a bucket list. Four out of five stars because there was one disappointment with how I was being served despite being in line and somebody ahead of me with his mobile phone and app which I thought was pretty rude in which I should have been served first if you're going to have a line otherwise create a separate line.
