Food was great, had an egg and cheese crossaint, some spinach, avocado, mushroom, and cheese crepes, the house veggie burger, and crispy eggplant with polenta and goat cheese. The crepe came with only the cheese on the inside and other ingredients on top, and was more of a crispy rather than soft or spongy texture, so somewhat different than I had pictured but they were good. I'd order all of it again! Service was good and attentive. Food was a little slow to come out at times given that the place was pretty empty, but I wasn't in a hurry and was taking my own time, so I didn't mind that. Will definitely return!

Fancy food at regular restaurant prices? Wow! So I came here based on the description of the cheese plate appetizer. By the way, that was divine. Honey drizzled over blue cheese and Brie cheese with strawberries and toasted bread slices. I can't say enough good things about that simple appetizer. I could drive an hour just for that. Then we saw on the menu they had duck, escargot, and many other unique and interesting dishes all for around 20 bucks a person. My wife ordered the duck pasta with a mushroom demi glaze. It was the best duck I've ever tried. No gamey taste but it definitely tastes like duck. The mushroom demi glaze was delicious and had a strong mushroom flavor. The bowtie pasta was cooked perfectly and was a good pairing with the sauce. I ordered the Beef bourguignon. The burgundy sauce was amazing, the beef was oh so tender and no bad pieces with grizzle or fat. The green beans and carrots looked beautiful on the plate and were cooked perfectly. Just a slight snap when you bite them, but not undercooked. If you are looking for a fancy dinner that feels casual enough for an everyday lunch or dinner, this is the place to go. Next time I'll be trying the lemon shrimp pasta or the sea bass. Can't believe that's even an option at 20 bucks a meal. This is my new favorite restaurant. I'm assuming I don't even have to tell you the service was amazing. The staff was great the store was clean and the decor was very comfortable and easy to look at. They even had pillows in the bench seats. Never been to France but if I didn't look out the window you could have easily convinced me I was teleported to a French bistro in Paris. Nothing bad to say here. This restaurant is sure to make you leave smiling and talking about the food for hours.

My mother and I tried Gaston’s today for the first time and it was a great experience! We started with the Baked French Onion & the Lentil soup, which were both delicious. We then each got a salad.. which were incredible! The salad portions are HUGE, made with extremely fresh ingredients, served with a large side of dressing and a breadstick. My favorite part was the Mock Tail menu…perfect for expecting mamas like myself. The servers were very polite and personable, and the owner was extremely friendly. He introduced himself to us, and he made sure to touch down at every table. Thank you Gaston’s, we cannot wait to come back!?

Went out for lunch with the family and had a great experience! It was not too loud nor too quiet, the portion sizes are very generous, and the hospitality was top-tier! Most importantly, the food was delicious! I highly recommend the New Orleans shrimp pasta. Yasser was genuine and very helpful in his entree recommendations, and Sandy was so kind and greatly contributed to a positive experience with her contagious smile and passion for customers. I will definitely be back here soon!

Very cute place! Wasn’t too busy and the service was good. We waited for a bit of time to get the food, but we weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t a big deal. The prices were pretty good and the portion sizes were good too. Will be back!

So I would like to start off by saying this is what drove me to my phone to and download this app and write my thoughts for the safety of the Orland Park citizens and those who decide to try Gaston's ! I take my girl out for some lunch and when the appetizer of !NEW! Jumbo Shrimp comes and she takes a bite of it and immediately spits it out . I'm like no way it's that bad , turns out there was a dead fly . That's all I needed to share.
