Great family diner. Love stopping by and having breakfast. Also don't forget to try the home made soups. Good service and no long wait time.

I suggest to drive right by the food is nasty and I paid $10.00 for a 1egg with bacon and cheese with coffee it was so greasy after 1 bite and 1 drink I threw it away so I wouldn't get sick they only good thing about my visit was the waiter held the door open for me to walk out

I ordered a breakfast sandwich it was so greasy it only had 1 egg and 1 strip of bacon and coffee I took only 1 bite and 1 drink and had to throw it away and was charged $10.00 what a waste of money !

We stopped on a lark-The venue was lack luster, but -more of what appears to be an outdated family joint. The prices were affordable, the food was "nothing" specialThe owner/waitress was friendly, - although /When presented with the bill ?It was padded with $14.00 of non ordered / or included itemsIt took some 15 minutes, a review of the menu -Indicated that - the bill was almost double what it should have been -Multiple stories and reasons were providedAs - the total was eventually reconciled.Beware of SCAMS & false chargesOr - perhaps just eat somewhere else.

The food was delicious; between the four of us, we had eggs and bacon, a breakfast skillet, a grilled cheese, and a BLT. The service was exceptional too. It was a nice, cozy place to share a meal with someone.

Nice diner style restaurant. Stopped in here for a breakfast on a Sunday for Father's Day. Solid menu with all the classics and then some. Service was top notch even though a bit understaffed. Got coffee right away and our orders were taken promptly. Had a skillet with sausage gravy that came with pancakes. Flavors were well blended and skillet was not soggy. I greatly appreciated the portion sizes. Not a giant plate fit for a small family, but just right. Pancakes are also perfect sized. Like quarter pound burger size. Light and fluffy too. Tried the biscuits and gravy my wife had and the biscuits were light and buttery. Gravy a good consistency. Good meal with fair prices and solid service.

What a local treasure! I am visiting from Texas and am staying in an Air B&B, so having a “home cooked” meal is not likely…until I happened on the Windmill. Tonight’s special is Stuffed bell peppers with mashed potatoes and green beans. I haven’t had that meal since my Grandma was alive…25+ years ago. The peppers and green beans were amazing! Just like I remembered…I’ll be here for a few more weeks and guarantee they will see quite a lot of me. Oh! And a lovely woman works the register and a very nice man answered the phone. I’m full and have that warm, fuzzy, comfort food feeling! Thank you!

Amazing food. The chicken and rice soup is absolutely delicious. The sweet lady working is very kind and fast. She moves alot faster than you would think. Everything has came out perfectly spaced out. The salad is even good and it's hard to get me to add that.So thank you so much for the wonderful experience me and my family loved everything especially the service. We will be back for sure.

My family and I stopped here for an early dinner. We drove from Chicago after calling and asking what soup they had today. (Sunday) they said cream of chicken and rice and we were excited. Let me tell you they did not disappoint it was actually so good we ordered 3 more soups Togo after eating our delicious meals. So we will definitely be back thank you so much for the service and food. Our waiter was a sweet lady that was very attentive and efficient.
