Panera seems to be trying harder these days. The food and service have slightly improved. I don't think you get what you pay for, but it's getting better. Their restaurants are all oddly scruffy, in that they're never quite clean or organized. For example, the floors and tables are never all clean. But when you order online or at a kiosk it's never clear from store to store where to pick up.

I bought a whole sandwich & a half one. The cost of each was up on the wall. The 1/2 one said $5.09 BUT I was charged $5.99! When I walked back to the man he said it cost that if you don't buy something more. He hadn't told me ... & where was I supposed to have read that!?! I am NOT going there again because I don't have extra $ to lose that way ?

This Panera Bread is always out of BREADS, especially Baguettes. About everything else, come around or after 6 pm and they will be out of pretty much everything else.

Most Paneras are the same, however this one is always dirty with garbage and crumbs on the floor. They always seem to be low on pastries and the staff seem like they are bothered to help you. It’s strange.

Why sell something you're out of? Then to make matters worse, act as though the customer is in the wrong. I give 3 stars because the food was still good, however, the treatment is not so stellar. Accountability goes a long way.

Worst Panera location that I've ever seen.We live 5 min away from this place, and we eo like Panera a lot. But this particular place is the worst.It took me to go through Drive this morning over 20 minutes, only 2 cars ahead of me.These girls who work at the window are careless and very slow. I've WAITED for 20 min for the Food and because I was already super upset about that, I didn't bother checking my bag with food, after I left the place about 5min, I've found out that i have a totally wrong food order. VERRY UPSET.IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE DRIVE THROUGH, THEN JUST CLOSE IT, PLEASE.

Poor drive through service. Very slow and the hot coffee is almost always cold. I tried giving the feedback by going in and speaking to the manager one time, staff is nice n listened to my feedback but no difference in drive through coffee service. Still stale. I tried lake Zurich location a few times n was very happy with fresh hot coffee (drive-through). Not sure why BG location can’t fix this issue. This review is after a dozen tries , between 1:30 pm to 5 pm. I truly hope they’d fix this . Thanks

The food is really great, but that’s about where it ends. They are always running out of coffee in the mornings, and the bathrooms are disgusting. Plus, everyone always acts like you’re a huge inconvenience when you ask for things (like more coffee). Not a fan of this store.

By far the worst Panera I have EVER been too. First of all, the manager who looks like he’s mid 40s - 50s with glasses was extremely disrespectful when I came in upset about the quality of my food. He then proceeded to replace my Mac n cheese that was originally extremely watery and soupy with an even worse Mac n cheese. The manager basically tried to tell there’s nothing else they could do and waved me away. I will never be going to this Panera ever again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know how horrible & unprofessional this location is.

I was shocked at spending $15 on a chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich and only getting a bag of kettle chips, it was OK, I've had better baguettes, but $15 for a sandwich and chips,
