Went for lunch with a friend. The fried manchego was delicious along with the lamb meatballs. We also got the crab cakes which were good lots of flavor. The pistachio gelato was good too.

I started with bacon lollipops (small) and had the filet mignon (medium) for the main course. The bacon lollipops looked so good that I forgot to snap a photo before I ate them. They tasted just as good as they looked. The filet mignon was good also as it was served on top risotto served with gravy and some small carrots.

The interior is charming and welcoming. I don't remember our servers name, but she was attentive, polite and enthusiastic. She explained the menu and the specials quite well. My friend had the grass fed beef burger, and I had the special of the day, the salmon burger. We were both pleased with our burgers and our glasses of wine!

Fabulous dinner experience tonight on the “patio”! The service was fantastic particularly considering that everyone had to make long treks back and forth over the parking lot. An excellent Sauvignon Blanc was recommended and was delicious. And the food was amazing! Would highly recommend the scallops. One of our favorite places in Rockford and we will definitely be back!
