Stopped for a quick dinner. The fish and chips and the table service were fine, but not otherwise notable.

I enjoyed my meal. This restaurant has a good atmosphere, great service and friendly staff.

The first time I went there I was in love but the second time I was very disappointed. The brunch buffet food was only slightly warm and the bloody mary I got was very watery. I mentioned to the server and she had it remade but still wasn't good. I couldn't even drink it I told the server and she tried to be nice but still charged us. Don't think I will be back.

It was Valentine's night, so I expected a wait even with reservations. we waited 30 minutes then were seated in the bar where every time the door opened, we got a freezing blast. I ordered a turkey burger. it was extremely dry and the fries were cold. not cool, cold. We were highly disappointed and will probably not go back.

They have a great variety of food and drinks. They have a great brunch with a wide assortment of food including a donut decorating station.

I've now eaten at this restaurant 3 or 4 times in about as many years (while in town visiting from the east coast). I've had the same reaction each time: I really want to like this place but I just can't. I'm not a big craft beer aficionado, so it's really more about the food and service for me. The restaurant's ambience is inviting, with a "fun vibe." I like the restaurant layout, and the beers I tried have been pleasant. The problems begin at seating where on one evevning (9/2019) I waited about 4 minutes for the seater to finish up a personal cellphone call (she spoke loudly enough that I could hear all her weekend plans) before even acknowledging my presence. Then there's the food. Oh boy. What can I say? Not terrible, but consistently greasy, mediocre, and seriously overpriced 2.5 -star food served with little style, and, more than once, tepid in temp. The wait staff is mostly competent, attentive, and courteous. In each case, the server has seemed well-prepared to answer menu questions and speak knowledgeably about the beers and other seasonal cocktails. To reiterate, I really want to like this place. I just can't justify $16 for tepid fish (the chips were crispy, tasty, & hot) when the nearby Culver's offers it hot & perfect for half that. I expect to pay for ambience and for access to the craft beers; I just can't reconcile those menu prices when the local fastfood joint gets it so right. We also tried the DoorDash service for Granite City, but as of late November 2019, the restaurant hasn't figured out yet how to correctly transfer the order from the order/delivery service to the kitchen, so we only received half our food. DoorDash instantly refunded a small percentage, but not the entire cost of the missing items -- probably a DoorDash issue. The printed receipt reflected the restaurant's mistake. We called GC and they confirmed it, but we're still waiting to see if they correct it properly with a refund or credit to my account; I will update this review if it is addressed.

Our server/waiter was phenomenal today. The French onion soup is my favorite, I will come here just for that! Portion sizes are generous, and their beer selection is great. They always have cool seasonal selections as well. Will definitely be back!

Serious disappointment Good service and the Octoberfest was tasty but the ahi tuna was terrible, not at all like the menus description that led me here. My friend had the jamabalaya which was not up to par either. I had eaten at this chain before but doubt I will go bac

Have been a regular since opening, however, recently been rather disappointing service and food late and cold! Seems to be a large turnover in employee retention. Would not recommend unless your just stopping for a beer.
