We had an exceptionally good time at our event this weekend. The staff was super helpful, right there whenever we needed them, and always friendly. They routinely checked up on us to make sure we were good, the food was excellent, and the chef had no problem working with a few of our guests on specific needs. The Peacock room was gorgeous and I highly recommend having your next event there.

Prairie street offers a fun selection of local brews and decent menu. Service was good and the food offered a decent value. I would have liked a more creative menu but for basic light fare, this is a good choice.

Great service and good food. Nice outside seating where we were able to get together for a small retirement party of co-workers retiring. The weather was great for outside seating and a nice view of the river. The burger was fabs.

We stopped by for lunch and loved it. The food and service was excellent. The out door patio on the water made it all the better. Stop here during the nice weather— quiet beautiful view.

We came here with some friends and it's a nice place. We were going for the outside seating because of our Covid concerns and plus then outdoor patio was right on the river and had a scenic view but it was a longer wait and no one was seated indoors so we took a chance. Eventually there was another group that ate inside but they were correctly seated much further away. It seemed like a warehouse that was converted into a restaurant as it was so spacious with high ceilings. The food and beer was really good. We had cheese curds and korean street tacos for appetizers and it was very tasty. The cheese curd sauce had a little bit of tangy flavor which I liked. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries. The Cuban was very good with a lot of meat. My daughter got the Bleu burger and she said it was good as well. Also our friends liked their steak and fish tacos. The waitress was very attentive and regularly checked if we needed any more drinks. The prices were good for the amount of food given. It was my first time in Rockford and not sure I'll be back but if I do come back, I would add this to my list of choices to get some good food.

Needed a lunch spot that was conveniently somewhere between Milwaukee and a couple of rural Illinois places I was driving to one recent summer ago, and narrowed everything down to Prairie Street Brewing in downtown Rockford. Extra bonus points for satisfying the craft beer freak in me with some tasteful brewskis souvenirs to bring home to mark the few hours spent in the hometown of the Raptors' Fred Van Vleet. It's on the banks of the Rock River, housed in a large historic building that began its life as a different brewery, and there's even a marina. Geez you could probably host half this city here, they got indoor and outdoor seating all over the place! I enjoyed a flight of their various on-tap beers at the time. Liked the peach wheat very much. But really dug into one of their burgers, the Bleu Burger (and c'mon blue cheese in burgers and such is awesome). Service was pleasant and overall made for a good stop in town.

I've been coming here for over 5 years now and this is my go-to place in Rockford. I will have a party here when I come back from 10 months of being away.

This turned out to be a great place for food, drink & ambience. It's in an old brick brewery on the river & quite large. There's an additional bar on lower level with access to large deck & docks for boats. It wa March so no boats. There is plenty of parking. The wait staff is friendly & competent. I had the Korean tacos starter for a meal, & loved them. My wife liked her prosciutto & goat cheese flatbread, and companions enjoyed a Ruben & burger. The beer selections, brewed on site, are excellent. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere old repurposed building with nice facilities. Food was great. Microbrewery on the river
