Omg! Lavender latte is THE WORD! Need I say more? Awesome to have discovered this complete gem of a true coffee shop! I will be back :)

The Rockford Roasting Company team that was working at the Anderson Japanese Gardens tonight did a fabulous job! The line was long in the pavilion, but the team stayed friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed our hot cocoa as we walked the gardens.Just a few thoughts…➡️ The fine print on the menu is difficult to read while standing in line.➡️We did not know that Peppermint Cocoa was an option (not on the menu)Overall, everything was enjoyable (the heated pavilion was a nice bonus!)?

I paid $14+ for two stale mini waffles and a barely warm cup of coffee on Monday morning. This is the poorest excuse for a coffee shop I have ever seen in my 77 years!Parking: No free parking in downtown Rockford!

We went here for the first time and it was great! Friendly staff, nice ambiance, and super smooth and tasty espresso. We tried two seasonal drinks: the fall + oats and the blood moon- both were delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are in Rockford.

I stopped by today because I saw they offered vegan pastries. The pumpkin poptart was amazing! It was very fluffy and flavorful without being too sweet. I also tried the "reindeer feed" with steamed oat milk. It was so filling and delicious with a variety of nuts and grains. The black coffee was good, but I was more excited about the food. The barista was also very helpful with helping me decide what to order. Overall great visit! Will definitely be back!

Not bad. Good coffee, fairly quick service, nice ambiance. I like how they have a roaster/grinder in the back. Tables were near empty when I went. There are two levels. Upper level is pretty quiet.

I love trying the local coffee shops and getting a classic latte and/or cortado with a couple of pastries. This was the last stop we made before heading home and what a great start to a really rainy day! The latte's were GREAT. The flavor of the espresso REALLY came through. My girlfriend usually worries it might be TOO bitter for a non-coffee drinker like herself, but this one was perfect for her. It had just enough sweetness from the beans that no additional sweetness was required! Each of us got a different latte art presentation too, which is always nice (a rossetta and tulip). I still firmly believe that latte art DOES make the latte taste better :) The pastries were also VERY good. We got chocolate and... something else scone as well as a chai spice cookie. But were delicious and very generous in size. I am very much looking forward to the next time i pay them a visit.

I was staying at the Embassy and went in to check the coffee shop out. They had so many amazing non-dairy choices that I couldn't pick just one so I got a different one each day! And the staff was extraordinary. They made great recommendations and were friendly, fun, and kind!

I stopped in yesterday and the nicest girl helped me select the Trogon - winey bean to make a pour over coffee. To be more clear, my first pour over coffee attempt. I also purchased the Hario coffee mill for grinding. This morning I made the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had! The process is relaxing and the coffee is perfect. Anyone looking to slow down their morning routine? Stop in and get this bean! Toss the Keurig and enjoy the journey. Thanks so much! ☕️

A midwest marvel. I’ve had coffee at every coffee place considered amazing in Seattle in its heyday and Rockford Roasting Company rates favorably. Great coffee sourcing, great design, and delicious and unique coffees made better than any other place this side of Chicago for certain.

I enjoyed a delicious latte in a relaxed and artful space. The service was prompt and polite. The expertise and care that goes into their roasting is evident in every sip.

Came to downtown Rockford to get a TSA pre-check and tried this small coffee shop. Im a regular coffee guy and got one to go. Saw a few people at tables and I was promptly served my cup to go. The flavor is fantastic!
