My first time trying Poke Bros. and I'm so disappointed. I love Poke and have had it many times at local places. I'm guessing maybe because it's a chain the fish itself is lacking, and seems to be the lowest grade farm-raised salmon. The toppings offered are fresh but the salmon is mushy, unusually fatty and tasteless, and I love salmon. There was SO MUCH sauce on it that all it tasted like was slightly flavored mayo and rice, all the other flavors were completely overwhelmed by my bowl of mayo that was nearly $16. My sister had mentioned she had a similar experience when visiting a location, but with all the locations popping up I thought it was a one off and I decided to try it anyways. Oh well, you never know unless you try and everyone has different tastes, but this one's not for me.

Our family has come to love the sushi-adjacent fresh fish experience that is poke, including my ten-year-old, who also loves sushi. Here you can order curated specialty bowls or build your own with a variety of fresh ingredients, including rice, sushi-quality fish, chicken, tofu, vegetables, sauces, toppings, and even mochi ice cream for dessert. While the fish is the focus, there's something here for almost everyone. The strip-mall storefront is modest, but it's a bit of a hidden gem. I've never seen the place too busy to find a seat, but those seats are also pretty austere, so you might prefer take-out. Fortunately the bowls are always packaged to make that easy. Tonight's dinner was delicious as always. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: The focus of poke is on the fresh fish, so eating vegetarian here is kind of missing the point. However, since there's a build your own option, you certainly can get a vegetarian bowl with vegetables and tofu if you want to, so it's fully vegetarian friendly.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free shouldn't be a problem at all here, as only the gochijang and sweet soy sauces contain gluten. Most items are dairy-free, so even vegan shouldn't be a problem; some locations even have a vegan mochi ice cream dessert. Nothing contains peanuts, although a cashew topping is available, but not mixed with anything else.

Pretty good poké bowls, but sometimes I feel like they don't add enough rice. I like the unlimited toppings, that's a huge plus.
Vegetarian options: If you're vegetarian, just get the build your own bowl, easy.

Great location. They could improve by indicating allergens such as gluten dairy and soy on the labels that are near the ingredients on the table. It would be less confusing than having to reference the sign up on the wall which only indicates gluten containing items. It’s easy to avoid gluten and dairy as well as soy here once you know the options, service is always friendly.
Bonus: One of the minority of locations that doesn’t use the hallway to the bathroom as a stockroom.
Dietary restrictions: Relatively easy to avoid gluten dairy and soy here with the right choice of ingredients. It would be better if they indicated these with some icons or initials next to the ingredients on the table rather than just indicating gluten up on the sign.

I customized the bowl the staff overdid the mirin sauce on the sushi rice; overpowering other flavors. The spicy tuna has no spice to it luckily I added jalapeños and sriracha aioli

We love sushi, so we thought we'd give this place a whirl and we're glad we did! I ordered The Duke and my wife got the Johnny Utah but asked for "spicy" salmon and jalapenos to make it spicy (it still wasn't spicy at all, fyi). They don't limit your toppings or charge you extra for adding additional, which was really nice. The bowls are prepared right in front of you and the ingredients look fresh, though the avocado was blackened and a bit mushy. The gal that helped us was patient and knowledgeable. We also got 6 flavors of mochi to test- I loved the Red Bean, wife loved the Salted Carmel. This is a healthy and fresh meal option- albeit pricey- and definitely something worth a try if you're in the mood for salad and sushi and can't decide which you want more :)
