Whoever prepared and sent my food cold or let it sit for hours before delivering it should be held accountable. That’s not just lazy, it’s unsafe. People work hard for their money and deserve quality, fresh meals, not careless service. Since your business clearly doesn’t care about the condition of the food customers receive, you’ve lost me as a customer for good. You will never get another dollar of my hard-earned money.

Food here is good. Place is filthy. No where to sit. No napkins , had to go to counter and get myself. No forks or knives either.

Food was good, but l won't be back. Good for watching sports! WHERE?

The reason it got 2 stars? The food.

I changed my mind from 3 stars to 2..my rice was stone cold

I ordered the beef rib platter for the first time and was thoroughly satisfied! Everything was fresh and well seasoned and the portion was perfect! The gentleman who assisted me had a great positive energy! I'll definitely be back!

The food here is absolutely delicious — consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s one of my favorite spots for takeout. That said, it can be tough to get through on the phone to place an order, and in-store service can feel a bit unresponsive at times. A little more attentiveness would go a long way. Still, the food is so good that I keep coming back!

Why is the sauce so hot?! I have a high spice tolerance, from every hot sauce to jalapeños. The sauce had me grabbing every dairy product in my kitchen. And I ordered mild. Please reconsider your recipe sheesh!

I usually enjoy visiting Port of Peri Peri and have had great experiences at other locations. However, I was disappointed with the Schaumburg branch. Unlike other branches where white sauce is offered for free, this location charges extra — and even then, they only fill the cup halfway.

It’s frustrating to see such inconsistency across branches, especially for something as simple as a sauce that’s a key part of the meal. I’m not sure why this location is so stingy with it. I hope management considers aligning their policies with other branches to improve the customer experience.

Sometime they burnt the chicken and not properly cook the rice.

The chicken rice bowl was decent. Chicken was flavorful, but there was like 5 kernels of corn. If they add a bit more corn and lettuce, it would be way better.

Chicken thighs had good flavor and crisp.

The amount of food you get is really deceiving in my opinion. A big bag of $30 of food, including bogo offers, and barely fed myself. Maybe I was extra hungry, but usually one chipotle bowl fills me up. The chicken bowls are smaller than you would expect. And $10 (original price without bogo) for one thigh is kinda crazy. Overall, good flavor but quantity of food needs to be increased.

FOOD POISONING. RAW BLEEDING CHICKEN AND PURPLE MEAT, HAD TO MICROWAVE Another MINUTE 15 TO COOK IT BUT CLEARLY THAT WASN'T ENOUGH. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURE OF MY DIARRHEA. I filled the bowl three times and was so nauseated and so was my husband. It looked like they were touching the chicken and other stuff around the kitchen so probably cooking the chicken wouldn't matter if other stuff is contaminated. The coleslaw is drowning in mayo/dressing It's honestly half cabbage and half mayo, so crazy. I laid out the coleslaw between two pieces of paper towels and still it was too saturated. The fries had way too much seasoning so it was very grainy and no ketchup included. They didn't poke a hole/vent the fry box so they were soggy by the time we ate things ten minutes later. The portions were extremely small as well. Cleanliness of the place seemed a bit concerning. The utensils were dirty that were sitting out. They also had a white trash car repossession show playing on the TV while you wait... so stressful to be forced to see that or wait outside. We waited outside.

Overall for food safety and price we won't be coming back! Interesting how these people act like they are religious good people and have so little consideration of the well-being of others and I perfectly fine ripping you off with price as well.

The food is great. Their business practices are shady. Online prices are more than ordering in person, even for pickup. Want the food to be ready before you get there? It will cost you 20%. Unbelievable.

Updating my review: They were very nice to accomodate the issues with my previous order. Kudos to their customer service for listening to their customers. I appreciate it very much. This time they cooked the food very well and I’d recommend them.

If you know me, then you know I am about my food… this Porto’s franchise isn’t ran properly. The chicken is dry and idk how that is possible because they stream the chicken first so its moist. The outer char grilled that is supposed to be the best part, which was provided over grilled to basically inedible. Maybe accidentally, but I was shorted a whole chicken piece. This hasnt happened for the first time. Not even worth my time to call and have it corrected. #FakePortos #NeverComingBack #RayhaanBhaiReviews

Food was terrible - I had the rice bowl with strips and the rice was very bland and the chicken was rubbery.

Unfortunately this place is a shell of what it used to be.

I have been going here since it opened, 2-4 times a week. It was great, food cooked well and tasted good, service was great.

It has been going down hill for a while now, biggest thing I have noticed is staff turnover, it has led to inconsistency across the board. Chicken is burned and dry often, sauce quantities have been inconsistent.

Today was the last straw, I asked the staff if I can have few extra sauces because their sauce containers (small plastic ones) at best half full (often even less than half). The guy said he can only give me one and if I want more then I’ll have to pay. I reiterated that the containers are not even filled properly, I shouldn’t have to pay. He hesitantly gave me 2 half filled sauces but not before trying to gaslight me that “we fill them but container absorbs the sauce”….i guess we are idiots who would believe plastic to be absorbent…

Got home and chicken and rice tenders are extremely small, dry and burned (picture) and wrap was burned and chicken dry. Steamed veggies were fine.

Very disappointed and I think I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
