I have never had a bad meal at Augie's!!! Thrifty Thursday's are great on the pocketbook and you won't leave hungry. Staff are knowledgeable & efficient!! If you are visiting downtown Springfield, this should be in your top 3 places to eat. The other two would be Mangia & Maldaners. great

Stopped in here today after our conference. This was perhaps the best meal I have had in years! I had the lobster bisque soup, goat cheese salad, and their ribeye special (in special sauce and laying on top of mushrooms and gnocchi). All three items were the best three I have had in a long long time. The service was so fast as well. Just amazing!

Had a really good lunch here while we were on a day trip to visit the Lincoln museum. Beef vegetable soup hit the spot since it was a cold day and I had the butternut squash salad which was also very good. Really good service. Would go there again!
