My friend and I had lunch there today. I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was quite good. And my friend had the smothered chicken which he said it was very tasty. Our server was very friendly and I liked the atmosphere. May go again. And the fried devil's legs were both unique and tasty.

I have eaten at this restaurant 3 times, the first time the chicken was over salty and they forgot to put my macaroni in my bag so I had to go back and get it and then they got mad at me because I came back to get it! Then I went back a second time and ordered and the girl that waited on me had an extremely bad attitude! Huffing and puffing like she was out of breath! Then I went back a 3rd time and she had the same attitude! Because excuse me for not knowing what you have on your menu! So I wouldn't trust you to make my food with an attitude like that! So I will just go to Boyd's Restaurant or I will cook it myself!!! Thank you 😊!

I ordered and door dash delivered. Came for a visit. The food was amazing. Best fried chicken I’ve eaten in a long time. Collards, yams, and Mac n cheese was so good!! If you live in Springfield and have not eaten here, you need to wake up!!! I give up them 10 stars.

This little soul food spot in downtown Springfield is amazing. The fried fish and cabbage are so fantastic, I’d get them a thousand times over. I could honestly eat here every day if I could!

The Philly cheesesteak was literally a portion of fajita mix you could get at Aldi. Burgers were frozen patties. Fries were good and so was the lemonade. They claim soul food, but nah

Ordered online for pickup. Fish & chicken. Picked the food up and they didn’t tell us the chicken wasn’t in there. When we got home and called they said “we ran out”. The driest greens I’ve ever had .. sweet potatoes undercooked .. very disappointing.
