I love going here, very personable, poliet, food and service is excellent. This is my highlight for travelling to Springfield. It is a soulfood place and the walley fish, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese and greens and sweet tea my favorite. All of their food is excellent and and their sweet potatoe pie that the Mom make, i ate my piece and hers. I tried not to do it. Try them when in springfield, they close at 3pm and uaually not open on the weekends but if you get a group they will open for you. Give them a try.
I am from Louisiana so we do a different take on Soul food. A traumatic event brought me to Springfield for a month or so,but I was very glad I stumbled on this place.I was very skeptical about eating from restaurants in the area , but I e tried and it disappointed me. Boyds did not disappoint at all. Everything was delicious from there gave me a feel of the Louisiana Soul Food. My favorite was the Smothered Liver. I am back home and I still crave it. A must try for anybody wanting quality good tasting food.

My family and I absolutely love this place! Great food! However I ordered online and waited in drive thru 35 minutes for food. I waited the time they said it would take plus an additional 35 minutes. There has to be a better way after you take people’s payment online and then hold them hostage to get their order for an unreal amount of timeParking: Sss

Somebody the best fried chicken we have ever eaten. The sides were also fantastic and there was more than you can eat.
I drop by to pick up breakfast a couple off times a week and it's incredible. Great food, service with a smile, amazing price for what you get.I've stopped by for lunch once, as well, and I definitely look forward to getting the opportunity again!

Best home cooked food in the area. I've yet to get something no I didn't love here. Prices are reasonable and servings are fat!
