Employee was super nice, and the ice cream was good. However, the store is practically falling apart. The door handle is falling off, the cooler is held together with duct tape, the ceiling tiles were damaged, and there were only 2 tables.

I love you guys but it’s like once you guys run out of ingredients that’s it. I feel like you guys should have more than one ingredient instead of only buying a small amount because it will not last you the whole day. The store I went to didn’t have ingredients for smoothies, they’re constantly running out of brownie, and for the first time I saw them run out of chocolate ice cream and not have any more!? Not only is there a lack of ingredients but it’s hard when you have a lot of customers, so I guess that could be the issue but still! I don’t know what’s going on but I hope they can do better at having enough workers and take note of what you run out of the most so you can order more for the store. It’s crazy to have only a couple boxes of brownies to last you when you have multiple orders that contain it, and they’re very popular items.

**Update - Messaged the email as asked to below months ago and still have yet to hear anything else back about this...**Coldstone has long been one of my families favorites. My girls beg to go there. We get our birthday cakes here, and visit bi-weekly. After last night I am not sure we will return.First and foremost, getting hounded by the homeless outside with my 2 young children on the way in was slightly aggravating. I know this is out of the owners control and by no means did I use that in rating this as it is not their fault; but definitely a turn away when considering where to go.When inside the staff members were extremely friendly, but our Ice Cream was melted. Like slightly thicker than pudding consistency and not very cold. All of the ice cream in the case was melting. They were out of 3 of the 4 things we asked for. Our waffle bowl was burnt and slightly stale. They didn't have sample spoons for my daughter to try the barbie ice cream before she ordered it. Their ice machine was broken. The list goes on and on.Long story short, I expected better for $29 worth of ice cream products. Normally I think very highly of Coldstone, not so sure I feel the same anymore.

Unfortunately, under the new management, this place has gone down hill quickly. I used to eat here weekly and often recommend it to others but the service has just been terrible the past couple months. The last time I went in the guy on duty was sitting at a table talking to people for a few minutes after we walked in. When he finally came over to help us he was on his phone the entire time and my wife had to repeat her over 3 times because he kep going back to his video call over helping us out. Extremely rude and short when he finally attempted customer service and then they were out of some flavors and many mix ins including all waffle cones and bowls. These have all been consistent issues over the past few months but all of them converged at one time and completely ruined any desire to go back soon.

Welp ice cram is super yummy although its expensive and the portions are small. I feel like Im not getting my moneys worth. I want more yummy ice cream for the amount of money Im paying for it.I had an incident and the manager handled it and went above and beyond on making it right. She was amazing and i really appreciate how she handled the situation.I had apple pie ala cold stone and it was so so good and I reccomend it if you havent had it yet. The chocolate silk milkshake was good as well.I want to thank Coldatone for handling my situation and thank you for making it right. Im very pleased with the outcome and will return in the future

The store manager, Ashley, was so helpful, patient and understanding with my special circumstances in helping me to get a custom cake order in for my daughter’s birthday right under the wire! We do a Coldstone cake every year for her bday- and the reason we go back is the quality, consistency and taste…but now the stellar customer service ‘takes the cake’;)-
If I could give zero stars for service, I would. The lady (11/5/23) working in there was insanely unfriendly. She did not greet my group nor the pair that came in after us. She made zero eye contact, was short and snotty in her communication. It was obvious that it was inconvenient for her to have to provide any sort of customer service or do her job in any manner that would resemble a polite exchange of words or actions. The ice cream was mediocre at best. It was "refrigerator" cold and tasted like cheap grocery store ice cream. I will not be back.

On Friday night (9/29) I got there at 9:35pm. On the door it says it closes at 10pm, and googles says it closes at 11pm. The door was locked.. there was 4 customers already inside. At least 7 more customers come up behind me waiting to get in bc the store closes at 10… once again.. so we all wait until the gal comes out and only lets in the doordash guy who was already waiting 10 minutes to get in bc the door was locked- and then tells us other customers “I’ve been here working alone since 2pm so I’m closing early”.. mind you this is your job so quit complaining and second if an establishment says you close at a certain time you should close at that certain time. How do you expect to run a successful business this way? They couldn’t made at least another $100 in the last 30 minutes from us if they wouldn’t closed at said closing time. Drove 10 minutes for a certain ice cream thinking it would be open. Just horrible customer service and I’ve worked in the food industry on and off for several years. Probably won’t be back.

Love this place! Love the ice cream! Service is decent. Every time I've gone in, it's been just one person in there (understandable considering the employment issues in the country). This Springfield gets a 4 out of 5 on cleanliness. I just LOVE CS ice cream.
