Overpriced, Boring bread, thin tasteless meat. Not sure. Didn't give napkins until asked for. Cool shirts for sale though. Not much more to say. Just put 1 star because I couldn't leave a goose egg.

I have been a loyal customer for years. Every time I come to Spfld I make a point to grab lunch at Headwest. Today I was very disappointed in the SVC. I ordered my lunch at the kiosh. None of the workers greeted any of the customers. I ordered a sandwich and a fountain. The machine wasn't even on. They turned it on, gave me no indication it could take a bit. I waited over 15 min making me late to get back to work. Didn't offer a substitute. Just ignored my existence. Won't be back if that is how you treat clients now.

Second time in a row they got my order wrong. It is not difficult when you order by the number on the menu. Big time failure!

My favorite. Love this place. The bread and dressing are the best ever. You generally get a huge portion of meat in your sandwich.

we used to love this shop, has been declining in customer service for awhile, some what understand the hours changing, but when it's 20 minutes to close 6:40 pm and refuse to make a sandwich? Thanks good run from us, but will no longer give our business to you

Great sandwiches and soups. And the brownies are oh my God delicious. Been eating here for almost as many years as they've been open and highly recommend that if you're in the Springfield area then you have to get a sandwich from here. I recommend the Italian. It's my favorite. It's ham and pepperoni with thier homemade Italian dressing, lettuce, mayo, and tomato. I also recommend that you get the full size on the sweet bread cuz the half size is just a tease but if you're gonna get the half then you definitely need a bowl of thier broccoli cheese soup

I frequent quite a bit. The downtown location is suffering. Help them out… There is a lady there by the name of Gloria if I remember correctly.. (not sure she had to refund an order for the long wait and the guy she refunded asked for her name.) She is here everytime, but there’s only her and 1 other employee. The last time the last was crying because she said she hasn’t been trained properly.

Great place to eat w/ a casual dining atmosphere.Good music pumping through speakers throughout the dining area.Exceptional staff who is attentive to every detail of your lunch order. The wait time was almost non-existent..I even ate in around 12:15 and even with a fairly decent packed dining area;I still had my lunch order in less than 7 minutes..This is a great place to eat and the whole outfit is held together by a very courteous and knowledge Manager.Kid-friendliness: Board games and Activities available to keep the youngest ones (who don't have a phone yet)minds busy and engaged.

I got out of line to order from their kiosk, thinking it would be faster. I was informed they have tontake all orders in line first then all doordash...while I'm standing there....in person. REALLY? I was 7 people come in after me order and get their food before I did. DON'T USE THE KIOSK, ITS A TRAP!!

I have been visiting the area for years and have always looked forward to Head West, however, now that I live in the area and am able to frequent the establishments more frequently I have found they are wildly unpredictable as to the experience you will have. Sometimes it is amazing and other times absolutely trash! The last visit and the lack of response is the catalyst for this review. I ordered online because the HUGE banner on the website says "Order ahead and save time, ready in 20 minutes, go straight to the register to pick your order up". So, I did. Ordered at 11:24, said to pick up at 12:04 (it's lunch, they are busy, no problem). I show up at 12:08 and do as the website says and walk right to the register past the line and ask for my order...that hasn't been started. Again, they are busy, the guy said they will make mine right away (3 subs, 10 minutes tops) I walked out of the restaurant at 12:35...with a "sorry bout that" and nothing more. I went online to provide feedback via their "contact us" on the website. I not only expressed my concerns about the wait but what's worse, the order was wrong and had a inedible item in the food. I actually ended up sending two messages through that system with ZERO response. I then contacted the local store a week later and asked for the manager or owners email. I then email the provided email and explained the experience. ZERO RESPONSE. If you don't care, I don't care either and I will take my money elsewhere. There are plenty of great sub places in town and myself and my office that eats out daily will NO LONGER give money to an establishment that cares nothing for solid constructive feed back when you and your employees have failed to uphold your end of the deal. When the food is good, it is great...however, when it is bad it is really bad and there is no recourse because management and ownership don't care.
