A Great Dinner across from Lincoln's House! I ordered the Marinated Salmon with a sweet potato. It was fantastic! I also ordered a Ruben and the Fried pickles as an appetizer. The fried pickles came out in a large portion size that would fit well for a small group. I was expecting something smaller and was pleasantly surprised by the large size. The cinnamon butter that came with the sweet potato was a great fit for the flavor. I would eat here again and again if I lived here.

My fiance and I came through town to visit family and stopped at the Carriage house. We will definitely be making our way back here next time we visit. Food was great, and our server was to notch! I had a delicious philly wrap and the fried pickles were my favorite!

Decided to try something new for breakfast .. and Defintley wasn’t a mistake coming her the food was to die for very delicious and the service was fast didn’t wait to long for anything that I ordered and the atmosphere was perfect . 10/10 I recommended this
Pancakes were burnt black and unable to be eaten. Called and response was that they are made on the griddle ? I asked what options were for refund or to return, he said just go through door dash. Door dash only gave 5 bucks, so I lost money for inedible food. Just a bummer, their food is usually awesome, I was hyping up our meal and then these arrived.

Decided to stop and try something new , I stumbled upon this place and tried their Philly horseshoe it honestly was to die for .. the service was good and everything was super quick didn’t take to long I had an hour lunch break and I was done and out of there within 35 mins I highly recommend this place if you want good food good service and something quick but still with the dine in appeal .

Needs some management.We travel through Springfield several times a year and have had good meals at the Carriage house several times.On this trip, the place was pretty crowded. They were slow to get us drinks and take our order, but we are patient. Once we had drinks, we never saw our waitress again. She forgot to bring the adjacent table their drinks, and after they flagged her down, she brought the wrong ones. When she replaced the drink, she spilled it on a patron. They also got a couple of their food orders messed up.In the mean time, people left and two new tables were seated in each side of us. We were there over an hour (still never attended to past drinks) when one of the new tables was served (they were unhappy with their food). I was about to complain when the table on the other side of us was served their order. I literally had to tap one of the waiters to get his attention to complain - he went and got our waitress.Our waitress came to tell us “things got messed up in the kitchen”, and they were just getting started. Not until we got up out of our seats to leave did we even get an apology. I’d love to be reviewing the food, but we never got any. Instead, we buzzed over to Joe Gallinas pizza and got some great Italian sandwiches. I know where I’ll be going next time I return to Springfield.
