I had the chicken mole enchiladas. It was great flavor. They had 4 different salsas for the chips. I liked the flavors of the salsas (I like heat). The Pico de gallo salsa tasted like the tomatoes were ripe. Not a fan of Pico de gallo because it doesn't have any heat. But, it tasted fresh. The chicken enchiladas were great. I'm writing this review so I tremendously to go back. It seems like a mom and pop business.

The best authentic Mexican food in central Illinois. Don't judge by the casual exterior . It's cute inside and makes you feel as though you are on vacation in Mexico. The four sauces and homemade chips are amazing. We tried the fajitas with a variety of meats. It was sooo good. Can't wait to go back and try one of their other delicious dishes we saw being delivered to other guests.

Had the mole chicken enchiladas. The salsas for the chips was great. Four different flavors, the hottest was barely hot (I like very hot). I liked the orange, somewhat hot for is flavor and spice. Chips were very fresh tasting. The mole was good. The enchiladas were good. The chicken was tender although, I would have liked the chicken to be roasted or grilled with more flavor. Service was incredible. They are making sure your drink is filled out you are ready to order. There are about 10 tables, and it was not packed at 2pm on Friday. Btw, I'm doing this review so next time I'm in the area, I fermenter to eat here. I have had my fill of the horseshoe at other places.

What a great find in this little spot right near Abraham Lincoln's house in Springfield. Tremendous flavor on the chips n salsa to start, 4 different fresh salsa's. I got the birria tacos and could not have been happier. Tons of flavor. Can't wait to go back and try many more items on this menu!

Atmosphere was awesome. Food was amazing. Assortment of sauces for the tortilla chips. Be careful because a few of them are HOT ? but in a good way. Margaritas were perfect and the Burrito with steak was amazing. Thank you for the great food.

Delicious!! Food and service were great! Our server was so kind. The restaurant is small, but has comfortable seating and it's super clean. They even offer contactless service. We saw quite a few people picking up their food while we were there. The food is very fresh. Definitely recommend their birria tacos! We're from out of state and will return!

We are in from North Mexico (California). Excellent and authentic Mexican food!! I got the enchiladas, chicken and green sauce. So great!! The beans were creamy and delicious! The rice was too. I also liked that they brought 4 bottles of salsa with the chips! I love a variety of salsas! The margaritas were great as well!!

I am from California more specifically the Bay Area where it's known for our food and our tacos. I been living in Indiana for few months with no good Mexican food. I was in Illinois for a youth convention and me and my friend were craving Mexican but we were expecting something wack since we are used to such good food from home. We ran into Taqueria Moroleon online and decided to check this place out. Staff from the moment we walked in greeted us. The chips were soo good but I loved how they give you a choice of sauce to pick to your liking. I ordered tacos and I was amazed!! My friend got a burrito and her exact words were "tastes just like the ones from home". I love this place definitely coming back when I'm around the are!!
They are always phenomenal!! Never have had a bad dish from here. Usually go with the Molcajete and my girl gets the steak fajitas. We love this place. Go show them some love and support!!

Simple place, great food. Chips come with a variety of sauces. Tacos are served, of course, but a nice variety of other items, and the most varied choices of meat I've seen in a local Mexican restaurant. Fish, shrimp and nopales (cactus) served. Such a cool place. Beer is served too.

I had never had birria tacos so I don't have the ability to compare, however; it was easily my favorite Mexican dish. I wish we lived closer. This would be a frequent choice.
