We were in town for Streater Fest and found this little hidden gem! The owners were super kind and made sure our dinner was spot on. Wait staff was super sweet as well! Huge portions and super tasty. You will not be disappointed!

The 4 piece chicken dinner is an excellent value with a wide choice of sides. The side salad is very nice--no iceberg lettuce! A great selection of beers. Our Bent River stouts were outstanding.

You can always guarantee The Bullpen having up to 13 popular drafts on tap, easily the most drafts in town and it’s great they have flights. Try their deep fried chicken sometime. That salty crust is so good.

My husband and I had Brian and the bullpen team as our caterers for our wedding, and the food was absolutely delicious and it was definitely filling which was amazing. Brian and his team went above and beyond and was able to provide us with all the food we were hoping for! Not only is he a good business man but he’s also a gentlemen, he brought us our leftovers the next day which was so sweet and so very helpful. We look forward to eat at the bull pen restaurant very soon, and we hope to make it a tradition to go there on our wedding anniversary! Thank you again to Brian and his wonderful team!

Went to the bullpen last night for supper and to listen to Victor. Was disappointed with the food I had the pulled pork sandwich and macaroni and cheese. The sandwich meat was very dry and the bread with the sandwich was so hard you couldn’t cut it. Hamburgers were very dry and overcooked. Had the rib dinner and the ribs were dry and the sweet potato casserole was dry and very over cooked.Went to listen to Victor and other people were singing that shouldn’t have been singing. The crowd that was there was very loud and as a result we couldn’t listen to Victor. I heard people say that they were leaving because of the crowd being immature and loud. At one time we seen some of the crowd making gestures that was making fun of people with disabilities. Was very unhappy with the food and environment. The waitress was very good and I felt sorry for her on being embarrassed on the hat she was dealing with.

Tonight was my first experience at the bullpen and unfortunately it wasn’t the best. Everything started out great, good environment, kind and good service from the bartender (unfortunately forgot to get her name.) Myself and a decent sized group of friends came in to have dinner and drinks, and mainly see Victor play live music. Our food arrived shortly before the music started and the reviews were mixed around the table. Two different burgers served were dry and over cooked, sweet potato tasted like it was drowned in butter, BUT, the fried fish, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and ribs all tasted good. Music started and the whole party was enjoying and having fun until random locals were allowed to go up and sing like it was karaoke… most were not good, and that’s putting it politely… this went on for 20 min or more. Victor was good as usual and had two different women he did duets with and they did amazing along with him. Throughout the night my group and I observed what looked like some locals (maybe regulars?) inside visibly acting like they were on the spectrum and making “funny” and immature gestures and faces to further make fun or imitate people with disabilities like its funny… On our way out one of the members of our group confronted one of the imitators about how it wasn’t funny nor appreciated and as we left we were given middle fingers and a happy yet sarcastic wave given by two specific people. Overall the only good thing of the night was the bartender and parts of the live music. Terrible environment due to rude and immature customers, mixed reviews on the food, and the live music was over ran (no Offense to Victor or the two ladies) Hope our next experience (if ever) is much better than our first.

Great food and a decent price. We went in the middle of the day and were almost the only ones there. Our waitress/bartender was Kristen and she was very personable and friendly.

Pleasantly surprised. They had a special of New York strip, shrimp, asparagus, baked potato and salad. Steak was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Price was unbelievable. I’ll definitely be going back.
