My husband and I checked out Collective Roots earlier today and it was great! We loved getting to look around at all the locally made items while we waited on our delicious food. Not pictured was a lavender tea that was also delightful. We will be back for sure!
I am a repeat customer of Collective roots solely for the avacado toast and Bacon and the employees and owners humanity. If you want a low pressure human interaction locally and someone to be kind to you and make you a fresh quick yummy local bite in the morn- this is what you need.. Or you have an EBT card and want some local produce. Or if you need a space to sit outside and drink tea and journal- look no further. Collective roots, bruv.

We were told to find this place by a local. It had not come up on e-restaurant searches for Anderson, Indiana. We found it and enjoyed a late Saturday lunch. A Tomato soup and a tomato pesto sandwich which had a sweet, unexpected taste that was good. Mushroom onion soup and a house salad with balsamic vinegrette. Very filling. Comfortable tables. Clean. Great service. Small shop with local made vendors, and a few packaged foods in refrigerator.
