I will not be back. The rooms are dirty. When we arrived to our room, there was food and a pencil on the floor. When I closed the door of the bathroom there was hair on the floor. Went to wash hands and it looked someone left toothpaste stains in the sink. Went to the front desk and gave us a different room, nothing for inconvenience. We came from Michigan for a tournament, arrived at 10 pm and not impressed. We will try a different hotel next time we come to Fort Wayne.

This is a typical downtown legacy hotel, complete with large rooms but desperately in need of an update. The location is certainly prime right in the heart of downtown and co-located with the convention center which is nice. The parking lot across the street has a covered walkway directly to the hotel which is nice as well. But the hotel itself is clearly old and tired. Furniture in the rooms were beat up, and the furnishings felt old. The bathroom was also tiny. But the bed was comfortable and it was quiet in the room, which is the most important factor to me. Service was decent, but not memorable. Overall it's a decent place to stay if you need to be in downtown or are attending an event at the convention center.

First of all, while checking in for the night, the host Was not very friendly and, when I was asked for a card to keep on file, for Incidentals, I gave her mine and asked her Not to charge anything on it because a friend had reserved it and we had concert tickets to go a concert. This hotel room was supposed to be a gift. She Said okay, but then I was charged for the room anyway and have spent a week trying to reverse that charge still to know resolution resolution yet. When looking online, the rooms said that they were $119, however, this was $198.95! TheRoom was not great either. Everything was dusty and old. Doesn't look like it's been renovated for years. So I would say the service or the room we're not great to say the least! The bed was comfortable, is why I gave 1⭐️ star. I have pictures to post, but that was not an option on here. The shower walls had several spots of mildew on them. The tub appeared clean but was worn down and Gray at the Bottom, So we did not use it. The lamps and all lighting fixtures and shelving was all dusty and grimey. The microwave had 2 pieces of duct tape where some buttons used to be. It had smeary hand prints all over it. Clearly, the cleaning people had not been checked on very well .

This place is disgusting. Walls, floors and rooms are dirty. Horrible. I've been in cheap hotels that were cleaner then this one. Service was stupid. No smiles no one friendly. Over rated for the price. They have the same exact beds as a low priced hotel. This place was not special an anyway. Very very very dirty!Rooms: Discussing. Dirty!!!!!!

I’ve stayed at different cheaper hotels and they’ve all been way cleaner and nicer than this place. Our bathtub was clogged and so was the toilet. The bathtub also seemed to not have gotten cleaned before our stay which we just decided to ignore. Also, I know for a fact I lost my ring here, when I called to ask about it, they told me that they would start a report with the housekeeping staff and I’d get a call back. It’s been about 3 weeks and I’ve received 0 updates, so unfortunately I’ll just have to say bye to my ring!

Great downtown location with walking distance access to various food and nightlife options. They also have a very nice restaurant and bar inside the facility.Rooms: I had a standard room but they do have larger rooms & suite optionsSafety: There is additional lobby staff in the evening since the bar and restaurant are available to the public. The elevator requires a room key.Walkability: The dining options within a few blocks range from lower cost take-out to high end, trendy establishments. I have been to Proximo and Nawa for the fancy, and had Double Dragon for take out. All were excellent!

This hotel was one big disappointment being called a Hilton. Rooms smelled moldy, poor upkeep, dust on walls and one of our bed had blood stains under the covers. Staff mentioned they are understaffed and over worked and unable to clean the rooms satisfactorily. Staff was very polite and accommodating, even switched one of our rooms, which was even worse than the first. This hotel is old and needs severe remodeling. We pulled out of our rooms and headed to the Bradley Hotel which cost a little more, but 100% better.

I checked in with my family on Sunday 9/10/2022. We had reserved two rooms for the upcoming conference. We were escorted to our rooms and we walked in and I was hit by a bad odor. I inquired what the odor was then my two adult children questioned the odor also, and the gentleman said he would send housekeeping up. Prior to housekeepings arrival we couldn’t help but notice how dirty the room actually was, it was unacceptable. We were then transferred to another room at which point the new room didn’t have an odor but the room was not clean. (My son who never complains said hold on, he pulled back the sheets and there was dried blood on the sheets.) At this point he stated he would not stay here.My children’s father who was in the other room was to my surprise going thru a very similar issues as we did. At this point my daughter jumped online and we located another hotel within a close proximity to where the conference was which was beautiful. We have stayed at many Hiltons in our lifetime, and we are dismayed how Hilton Hotels puts their name to this location. Very dirty, highly disappointed, and staff stated they are under staffed but they will be remodeling soon to update the establishment but this is also why the corporation is not hiring more staff. Very disappointing. As the conference went on we arrived daily to find a very poor breakfast and the lunches were atrocious. This facility has much to work on before they call themselves a Hilton, right now the name of the establishment should be Motel Eight but has Hilton prices. Stay away until the renovate and hopefully it will be a true Hilton one day.

Nice location next to lots of walkable bars, restaurants, sightseeing activities, and the river parks and trail! One of my favorite layovers. Also a good breakfast in the lobby! And the lobby itself is nice.

Only two downsides to my stay.1. All the pillows on the bed were the same, some hotels offer one firm one soft.2. Motorcycle parking is only available on the sidewalk.

Stayed at The Hilton last month and I was beyond disappointed and disgusted. Being a Fort Wayne native, growing up I'd always see the Hilton looking so nice and being connected to the Grand Wayne. Needless to say I was super excited when Bay surprised me with a Staycation at the Downtown Hilton. What a fall from grace... The front desk was not very professional. We were being checked in next to a couple with small children and the person waiting on them were given a complimentary bag with a couple bottles of water with information of things going on in the area, and he informed them of the amenities like the restaurants and times they closed. The person assisting us on the other hand, barely spoke to my wife and I, never gave us a complimentary bag, and didn't tell us about any of the restaurants. He simply gave me the keys and that was that. So I took the bags up on the cart while my wife parked. I get to the room super excited and... Omg, the bed looked like it had been laid in, there's stains on the carpet, the floor in the bathroom was sticky and dirty, the microwave smelled like someone just heated up food and was dirty, it was so dusty from the lamp shades to the chairs, and, the rooms furnishings were so dated. It was so filthy all I could do was stand there not touching anything, until my wife came in. She was so upset, she called downstairs to speak to who checked us in and they had us go back downstairs to get another key. Unfortunately the other room was on the same floor and it wasn't too much better than the first room. Since we were so close to where we'd be going for the weekend, we decided to make the best of the stay. I only gave 2 stars simply because of the location. I will not be back.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I’ve stayed here many times, and it has gone extremely downhill. The front desk staff consistently acts disinterested and rude to the guests. When I walked into my room, the smell of body odor was almost overpowering. And worse- I found DRIED BLOOD on my pillow, UNDER the pillowcase which means the cleaning staff put a pillowcase on top of the blood to hide it. And when I brought the pillow down to the front desk to complain, the employee’s responded with “Okay.” No apology, no trying to make it better, nothing but “Okay” after finding someone else’s dried blood on the pillow. I am so disgusted by both the lack of cleanliness and the attitude by the staff. I will not be staying here ever again.
