Looks like a tiny hole in the wall bar from the outside, when you open the door you see the beautiful dark wood. The food was so delicious. The martinis are top notch. Worth the drive and a must try for anyone who wants an amazing dinner experience.

We went for our anniversary tonight. The servers were very friendly and so nothing against them . But we ordered drinks and an appetizer, finally 20 mins or so we ordered food. An hour later our food still didn’t come and everyone around us ate and they were leaving. We were comped our drinks. But we got the rest to go because we had a babysitter and now we get to eat tuna and shrimp when they are cold. We won’t be back .

Had a great first visit to Shorty's. When you think steakhouse you think high overpriced menu, but Shorty's has something for everyone and let's you build your steak the way you'd like. Laney, our server, was great and the place was very comfortable.

Shorty's is a great little gem just north of Fort Wayne and close to Auburn. The food is always good and we always try to order the special feature of the evening. It is always spot on. We love the bar side for it has great ambiance.

Shorty's is my favorite restaurant around the Auburn area. I wanted steak, but decided on their soy garlic grouper special. It was amazing. My wife had the crusted halibut which was huge and she really liked it. She ended up eating the leftovers for lunch the next day. We split a bottle of wine as well. Shorty's never disappoints.

Everything about them was great! The staff are friendly, waitress was excellent, the food was fantastic, and has a good atmosphere. Best of all, they bring the ketchup out in condiment cups, no messing around with old, gross ketchup bottles everyone else has fingered! We happened to be in the area today when we stopped in, and live just a little over an hour away, but we would definitely make the trip back just for this place again and definitely plan to!

Average at best. Ceasar salad was completely white end pieces of romaine. No green lettuce to be found. Chopped steak burnt on the outside. Service was good. Sat at bar. Won't be back. Overpriced for food quality.
Very impressed. Great food & service. Family friendly. Had the chicken piccata and it did not disappoint, well balanced flavors. Came with my family visiting from LA and they order steak and filet mignon which my mom thought was one of the best she's ever had. Will definitely recommend this place and will come back to try other dishes. As for the other comments they really help to improve the restaurants, so criticize constructively.

I had used open table to book the reservation. Under special events I wrote that is was a 75th birthday celebration for dave. The hostess & waitress totally ignored this comment. Our friend was not even wished a happy birthday! Don't know where that disconnect happened??? We will be back the food was amazing. Just need to pay more attention to the finer points. Was really disappointed in that

Great Short's Old Fashioned Great baked potato Sauce served with fish dish on special excellent. Brussels were undercooked Ordered an 8-ounce filet, but received the $30 sirloin

We showed up with a reservation for 3 at 6:45 and when the hostess seated us they put us at a table with no space to move chairs due to full tables on both sides of us. When the young lady sat us we asked for a table that was open in the middle of the room that had plenty of space to pull chairs out but we were told it wasn't available due to a 7pm reservation. Makes no sense that the first table to be seated wouldn't be able to use the open table. And when the other party arrived it was two people that would have been more comfortable at the table we were given. I just thought this was not great customer service. And could have been easily rectified. The food was delicious as always and the server was great. If the initial issue had been dealt with as requested it would have been high marks all across the board.
