Easter Sunday, we had to wait over 1/2 hour to make it in the building. Then we had about 15-20 minutes wait to pay. Then about 5-10 minutes to get a seat. Then it was hard to get around with all the people. We did not realize it would be THAT busy. We have been there when it was busy, but not like that. When you have 2 elderly people, 1 with a walker and the other is mostly blind, then add 3 pre-teen to older teens, and 1 adult with a cane...makes it hard to get around. The items I wanted to eat, I could not get...Everytime they had more out, a line would form. By the time it was my turn, they were out of it. I would not recommend going here during any holiday, too busy. I figured most people would be out with family at a home. No, everyone decided to bring their ENTIRE family here.

Really like Golden Corral! They have food selections for everyone. Especially love the fried fish, thin cornmeal batter with nice portion of fish inside. The hamburgers are always nice and thick. Mashed potatoes with gravy and bourbon chicken is tasty. Salad greens are always fresh and crisp. Cottage cheese and crab salad is a must have. Plenty of desserts to choose from, try the bread pudding or carrot cake with ice cream. If you're a senior, go for the Early Bird special from 1 to 3 pm weekdays and your beverage is free. Sorry kids! Don't forget to sign up for Golden Corral Rewards on their app.

Food was definitely worth the cost. We had five on our bill 9 total with our group. Greg was our server and he was on top of it. We were in the banquet room towards the desserts and he was rocking the entire room. I believe Dan was the manager he made sure he we got a table together. The cashier was also friendly but she definitely needed a break. She said she had been there for a while without one(I told her I would clear a path and hold the door open for her so she could make a break for it lol). Overall great experience. Only complaint is, it was definitely warm in one side of the restaurant compared to the other like the hvac was only working on one side of the building. We came from Shelbyville just for dinner and we will definitely be back. I hope this review makes it back to the mentioned staff as the made it a pleasant experience.

Glad that this location has reopened. I've missed the bourbon chicken and ate quite a bit of it. The service was great and just as good as it used to be.Update 02/24/24: Went here for breakfast. Food was alright. Service was still perfect.
