My wife and I LOVE this place. You usually can get in in the summertime. But, in the winter, you probably should make a reservation. Try to sit in the bar. It is old school, in that they know service. Very knowledgeable servers and great wine selection. Everything we have had there has been great.

We love Capri! We first arrive 30 minutes early go enjoy the bar with a speciality drink before our appointed reservation. We sat in the bar area a perfect distance from the fireplace. Our meals the two times we have been were cooked to perfection! The Bone in Pork Shank and Augratin Potatoes are plenty to shout about!

I was hoping this place would have awesome food because the pix of the interior were so inviting. And the atmosphere was great, but the food was barely adequate.
One of my favorite places in the area to eat. Never had a bad dish. I would say the price reflects the quality. $20-40 per entree. $12+ for a glass of wine. Everything is delicious though, and the wait staff are knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
Love the homemade pasta and nice variety of specials if you are not in the mood for pasta. It's always tough for me not to order pasta. Service size is generous so don't overdo it. Even so the friendly service staff will pack up your leftovers for you so you can enjoy your order again the next day, which I do often. I'm partial to their Caesar Salad with anchovies on request. Took home bread pudding since there was no room for dessert and it tasted great the next day. Capri has never disappointed me and so remains my favorite Italian restaurant in Indianapolis.

Capri is the one of if not the best restaurant in Indianapolis. We have our favorites (lasagna) but this time I had to try some of the things from the feature page and they were amazing!

What a difference service makes. My girlfriend and I went here 2 years ago and had an amazing experience. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice but not so fancy that I feel out of place, and our waiter was so kind and knowledgeable, truly I think the best server I've ever had. We finally returned to Capri last night. The food and atmosphere were just as good as we remembered, but our server was just not great. It seemed like she didn't want us to be there. She didn't ask us if we wanted desert or drinks, she didn't really have answers for our questions, and just wasn't super personable. I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was just having a really bad day, happens to the best of us. Overall I still recommend Capri and will certainly be returning.
