Our bartender today with the beautiful purple hair was awesome. Bartenders in the past have not been so charming. The bartender that came in later today was amazing too always is. The owner is always nice and pleasant. Food is always cooked on point. The date of our visit was 3-22-24.

We dine early here because the live music can prohibit me from hearing the server.

It's probably the blandest food I have ever had at a restaurant. I got a chicken ceaser salad wrap, and it was dry. I asked for more dressing. Mine, for whatever reason, didn't come with a side. I assumed it did and got onion straws and was charged $2 extra for them. Let's get into the server w LONG hair that was over our food! His hair isn't supposed to up or in a net! Asked for lemonade and tea together absolutely disgusting. Couldn't get certain things until after 4:30! Mediocre at best. It's definitely a spot for an older crowd. The only thing decent was the brownie and ice cream. Went to Steak n Shake after!

Christian and Delaney took care of a group 22 adults and 7 children for 3 hours and were wonderful. If you need a private room for a group this size they handled it beautifully and also Christian took a wonderful picture of the the family for us.

More than anything I really hate to bad mouth a local place. I will do my damn hardest to give every single place a fair shot but TONIGHT I have to say that I was in SHOCK at the most rude and unpleasant bartender (Sarah) I have ever come across. I'd actually gone there a couple of weeks ago with another friend for a quick nitecap which was fine. As of tonight she just acted as if we weren't there and the thought of serving us was disgusting her. And this is the part that just takes the cake. She stood there with a fucking face on and then proceeded to say "This is MY bar and I can do what I want and I'm not going to play games with you, either show me your ID or leave." Even though we just had sat down !My husband had his wallet out, it's not like he was avoiding showing her his ID. She was just Hell-fucking-bent on being a complete and utter fucking nasty person to us from the moment we walked in. I would be the first to admit if we were in any way being obnoxious, loud or provoking this woman at all. Not one single iota. I sat there the whole time being made to feel uncomfortable and as if I was trespassing in a public fucking bar. I seriously just could not believe the way she acted. I can't possibly fathom what made her treat us like pieces of shit from the moment we walked through the door. Maybe she has a thing against Hispanics since my husband is? Or maybe just because our clothes weren't ironic enough? Maybe we didn't have enough tattoos? I may never know. Now great, it's her bar. She can feel free to treat people any way she damn well pleases but I will never step foot inside that place ever again and I will tell anyone who listens not to either. That's for damn sure.

Our second visit to George's with the same friends. Again found this restaurant totally uninspiring and food for the most part average at best. Updating my review, however, from a 3 star to a 2 star because my Black Bean Burger that I had on this visit was the absolute worst Black bean burger I have ever had in my life. I have these frequently at other restaurants instead of a beef hamburger because I tend to find them more flavorful and even juicier than the beef. This one was the driest and most flavorless thing I have ever eaten in my life. And, because the bun was getting a little stale, it was like eating crumbling cardboard between two pieces of hard cardboard bun.

Neighborhood favorite. Have attended many celebrations in the private party room. Convenient drive through service. Recommend the chicken velvet soup.
