So I have to confess. I haven't been to this chain in years and years. Never gave it much credit. I always order fish and chips from a local pub. I was craving it but my local pub only has fried fish on Fridays. I ran over to Captain D's. I love their fried okra and their fried green tomatoes. But not their fish. Closed for now. Food was good. Long wait to get our food though. There was only one person ahead of us and it took 10 minutes to get his order and another 10 minutes to get ours and we ordered simple fish dinners.

Had a nice dinner out at Long John Silver's. There is not one day that goes by I do think how much I truly do miss my Best Friend and My Beloved Wife. I'm planning a trip on the 18 0f October to go to Kentucky and put flowers on her Dad grave and that is where I place some of her ashes. She will always be my true love I love her dearly.
