This is the best donut ? shop in Indy, by far! Every type of donut we have tried from Long’s Bakery has been amazing every time! The employees are hard-working and friendly. And their prices are way better than any other bakery or donut shop. If you haven’t tried out Long’s Bakery yet, then you’re seriously missing out!Just make sure to bring cash… they are a “cash only” establishment.

Great customer service. Glazed donuts are not as good as everyone raved about. My children were disappointed as well. It tasted like a grocery store glazed donut.Parking: The place was packed with no parking. I walked a minute to get there.

Long-standing business never disappoints the food is great. If you come in early at 5:30 AM fresh out the oven it's even better service is friendly the ambiance just good. The only negative thing I will say ever about it is the longest lines in the morning but I just tell you how good they are.

This is the classic, near Westside Indy donut & bakery shop. CASH only, but it is worth the drive to West 16th & Lafayette Road & White River Parkway. Just up from 16Tech or the IUPUI Campus and East of IMS. The old counter ordering queue gives you a chance to look at the temptations in the glass display case while figuring out how much CASH Only you have to spend. They have cakes and other stuff, but everyone goes for the doughnuts! Service is always quick, friendly and efficient and the neighborhood looks a little intimidating but parking is available right in front on the street and everyone keeps an eye out for each other. An Indy classic! And if you know, you know!

As a healthcare professional, it's nice that Long's Donuts is open early. When you start at 6 am, 5:30 am is enough of an opening time to swing in, pick out some donuts for you and your colleagues, and leave with plenty of time to get to the medical center. I don't know of any other donut/pastry place that opens that early. The donuts are your basic kind-- nothing "fancy," no fusions. Everyone loves the glazed donuts right out of the oven, though my personal fave are the blueberry cake donuts. I'm not usually a blueberry kind of person but those are just too good. Also just an FYI but the area sometimes has people loitering around outside the shop but these days there is often a policeman there. Definitely recommend overall but BRING CASH. I always have to scrounge around for loose dollar bills (thankfully the prices are decent!) since they only take cash.
