Stopped in on Friday night around 6:30. Surprised that we got right in, as most places are packed at that time. We were greeted right away, the staff was very friendly. Ordered our drinks, soda for me and the hubby had the Tavern Zwickelbier. We asked what was good and the server suggested a few things. I settled on the Pulled Chicken with apple slaw and served on a scallions potato roll with German Potato Salad for my side. Husband tried the Beer Bratwurst with sauerkraut horseradish mustard on a fresh bun and roasted potatoes and carrots for the side. Dessert was amazing Ira's Dream Bar Sundae. It was so delicious. We will definitely be going back in the future.
Parking: Not a large parking lot. Kind of hard to find parking when busy.

Greeted and seated promptly. Drinks ordered. Ordered food. Took in the place. Nice layout. Bar is not too busy looking, but inviting. Food came out hot and delicious. Wife had the pulled chicken and apple slaw,and german potato salad. I had the bratwurst sandwich and red potatoes and carrots side. For dessert , had the iras dream bar sundae. Omfg. It's a dessert that isn't part of the planet. Whew. Outstanding. Definitely had a great experience. It was Friday night and everything was good. Highly recommend if you are in town and want to try something different that's yummy.

This is one of those great neighborhood places. The menu is short, but the food is really good. They have a German sausage sandwich that I like. I also discovered citrus hop water their drink menu. Definitely give that a try.

Lots of German fare. We've tried all sorts of different things. All very good. My latest was the special - beef wellington on creamed spinach. It was incredible!The beer balls and pretzel with beer cheese have been hits, but it is all good. The servers were great and helpful. The place looks beautiful inside. Just the place for a cozy meal. The sizes of the beers are a bit confusing as the abbreviations stand for German words, but perhaps that just adds to the charm. Parking is on the North side of the restaurant. The kids can't wait to go back (they were disappointed when I told them we went there for lunch without them).
