I love this donut place! Their donuts are soft and fluffy and a lot bigger than any other donuts. My personal favorite is the maple bacon donut!

If your hours state that you don’t close until 3pm, why are you kicking us out at 2pm? Also - I tried to order a bagel and was met with some attitude about how the menu says that bagels are only sold until 11am. Felt I welcomed from the beginning.

Been here twice. Both times it took inordinately long to make the food and it was not busy. First time 45 minutes to make one sandwich and one salad. Second time 20 minutes to make a salad. I was the only customer. Seems to be only one cook and several wait staff. Not sure why. This time ordered a chopped salad and iced tea. 21$. Salad is listed as $12 so that was a pricey iced tea. I asked for the biggest size tea and it was small. Also, a chopped salad is supposed to be chopped and blended together. This was a regular salad with huge vegetables on top. Needed a knife. Annoying. Pink dressing. Tasted fine but off-putting color.

We are very fortunate to have this gem in our community, which was very recently re-opened under new ownership and management. We have been twice and both times impressed in the same way we are with other establishments owned and operated by this family. The coffee/lattes are better than Starbucks. We have had and can fully recommend the donuts, croissants, smoothies and delicious sandwiches. This is also a great place to stop for a glass of wine or a beer after the beach! Great location near park/tennis/pickle ball. Enjoy!

Fave spot for coffee, donuts, quiche and purple lemonade! Love to hit it early with whichever lucky kid is awake and bring back donuts for fam and friends. Huge outdoor seating area and cozy little indoor space. Can't wait for summer hours to start!

Sadly, they did not have donuts on a Friday morning. Considering they are only open on weekends I'd consider this a fairly big logistical mishap. There are few local places in the area to get donuts except Dunkin, so we were really looking forward to this all week. I had reached out via email the day before and received prompt and courteous service when I attempted to reserve a half dozen. Their communication was excellent but the delivery of the product not so much. Hope to try again if in the area.

It was Sunday Morning and it was suggested that I try something New and Fun. So I stop at Belly Flop to see the menu. It must be a popular spot since people were line up out the door. I order the quiche and a donut. Amazing, staff so friendly, food fresh, the owner I believe her name was Britt came out to check on me. Great experience will be back next time I am in town. I would have expected this place with owners from a Chicago restaurant group to care about their customers' safety, but alas, not one consideration. No masks, no distancing, no markings on the floor, no limit on number of people inside, and to top it off, a manager (owner?) working with mask on his chin (so ridiculous). The space is so small you are on top of one another with zero protection. I won't be back. Shame on management.

Summers around Lake Michigan are magical. Every new generation that that it touches wants to keep that spirit alive. Friday nights at Belly Flop with the pizza truck and the live music are one of my favorite things about summer here in LB. Thanks Belly Flop for bringing that sparkle to my summer year after year.
