I’d always heard good things and have read the countless reviews so I decided to finally try. The atmosphere wasn’t bad but not very inviting…cold just like the temp inside. The server was friendly enough but a bit slow attending to our table. The ribeye steaks were overcooked (ordered medium and were medium-well) but thankfully were still somewhat flavorful because of the grilled mushrooms and onions. We didn’t send them back because we didn’t want to wait any longer than we already had. Also, we didn’t see our server again after our food was delivered until it was time to deliver the bill.I was expecting way more from what I thought was an higher-tier steakhouse. I will not be back. There are too many other options at and below that price point with higher-quality food and service.

We had Jim as our server for a birthday celebration and he was so fantastic. We were a needy party of 8. He noticed the little things at our table and made our experience so enjoyable. It was the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Jim deserves a HUGE round of applause and raise!!!!!

Nice quiet atmosphere. The food (Filet Mignon and T-bone with fried shrimp) were excellently prepared -- hot off the grill and dripping with flavor. The wait staff was super attentive - Meagan was amazing and constantly checked on us during the meal. We never had to ask for re-fills, etc. Her smile and efficiency were AWESOME! We finished with coffee and chocolate raspberry cheesecake a good ending to a great experience. We will definitely be back for all the aforementioned reasons.

Went in hungry. Came out completely satisfied and content. Terrific steaks. Delicious bread. Fantastic Cajun soup. And they treated all of us with some over the top strawberry cake for my daughter’s birthday. This was a really good choice to celebrate my daughter's birthday.OK, so it is the next day and I am still thinking about the delicious dinner last night. Especially the extrordinary cajun chowder and the bread. The steak was great, but the soup and bread were very unique. Wishing I had some more today.

I had the Greek Salad for $13.99 and it was delicious and huge! I highly recommend this place! Great location as well since it’s close to the lighthouse mall, Washington Park beach and the zoo. Service was also wonderful, they were always there with drink refills!

A famous steak house in Michigan City. This place is always busy, which means it is quite noisy, especially during the weekend. However the waiting time was not that long.The food in general is fine, the steak is tender and juicy but the way they cook is oily. We ordered medium rare but got rare for the steak, so bloody .

I had no problem with the place itself; the service and staff were very kind. But, in my opinion, the steak was too charred for my liking (not overcooked through), and had little to no flavor. Same goes for the burger, except it was not charred. Fries were exceptional though, I must say.
