We had lunch here back at the end of January 2024. We had pad thai and the lunch size/special garlic chicken. Both were very tasty and good portions! Would definitely recommend.

Sake Asian Fusion in Michigan City offers a delightful dining experience with its delectable crunchy sweet potato rolls stealing the show. Each bite bursts with flavor and texture, making them an absolute must-try. Their sashimi and sushi presentations are works of art, beautifully crafted and impeccably fresh, elevating the dining experience to new heights. The ginger salad is a refreshing complement, bursting with flavor. However, it's worth noting that attention to detail slipped with one chopstick missing from the package, a minor hiccup in an otherwise stellar dining experience. Overall, Sake Asian Fusion delivers on taste, presentation, and ambiance, making it a top choice for Asian cuisine enthusiasts in Michigan City.

How or why this place isn’t packed on a Friday night baffles me. I’ve been there 3 times now. Once for lunch and twice for dinner. The food is mouth watering, the service exceeds expectations, and it is nicely decorated inside. This place deserves way more attention than it’s getting.

Special Birthday! This was my first time here. They greeted us as we arrived, we had a party of (8) for my dad's 83 birthday. The waitress was very nice, professional, spoke very good English. The Hawaiian appetizers were, absolutely outstanding in freshness, taste and presentation they were too beautiful to eat. the sampler platter was cooked fresh, the fried calamari, was very tough. I was amazed at the beautiful variety, presentation, portions, and quality of food that was available for the main course. All orders come out together, were fresh and hot. They even surprised my dad with a fried cheesecake that was delicious. A must stop if you're passing through or visiting. Great Food! You can tell in the quality, and freshness and presentation they take great pride in their ability to create such wonderful meal. Thank you for making my dad's 83rd a great memory!

The waiter was a beast! He was by himself with like 10 tables, and not once did I wait for a drink! The food is always good.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps inside the restaurant as well as up to the restaurant.

During a recent errand run, I decided to grab a quick lunch from Sake Asian Fusion, and my experience was middling at best. The restaurant deserves commendation for its efficient and user-friendly online ordering system, and I was drawn to their generous lunch special, which offered soup and a choice of any three sushi rolls from a list of options at a very reasonable price. However, my experience took a downturn upon my arrival at the restaurant. The establishment, which occupies the shell of an old Applebee's, is somewhat depressing. The fixtures were weathered, the lighting dim, and the general atmosphere was one of disrepair. It was a far cry from the vibrant and enticing ambiance one might expect from an Asian fusion restaurant.Upon entering, I found myself waiting awkwardly at the front for several minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence—let alone the customers who came in behind me. My order wasn't quite ready, and I was told to wait, which I did for about five minutes before I could check out.Once I got home and unpacked my food, the presentation was generally decent, with one significant exception. One of my spicy rolls was half tempura, which turned out to be a dry, crumbly mess that was wholly unappetizing. This mishap also resulted in my soy sauce transforming into a tempura sludge, further dampening my meal experience. The accompanying soup, while warm, was not hot, which raised a few eyebrows considering the other quality issues I encountered. In conclusion, my lunch from Sake Asian Fusion was a bit of a letdown. While their online ordering system and lunch specials were a high point, the lackluster ambiance, service, and some aspects of the food quality left much to be desired. It's been a while since my last visit to Sake, and based on this experience, it might be a while before I return.

No one was eating there, always empty ,the worker was unkind at the front of the restaurant. Some places need people skills in order to make money for your establishment never make assumptions of people of color.

THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! They will gaslight you. How?!?!?!? I ordered teriyaki salmon and shrimp Tommy Yum soup. Well, when my soup came out, it was chicken. I asked her to take it back because I did not order chicken... instead of saying sorry she started to tell me I was wrong and did order chicken. No one at the table got anything with chicken. She scoffed at me and literally stomped off. Then she brings the entrée. Guess what it's shrimp teriyaki! I POLITELY tell her that's not my order. She starts going off saying that's what I ordered and asked my friend if i ordered shrimp to which he replied no. Then I tell her I need it remade and she said no because they don't have salmon there. ?!?!?!? I told her yes because I got it off the menu ! I asked for a manager who comes over to berate me saying they don't have salmon and I was wrong. So I had them bring back a menu and showed them where it said SALMON right next to the shrimp. Neither of them said sorry or admitted they had salmon they literally said I was making it up ?! I left right after because there is simply no way I ordered something they wrote on their menu and then tried to make me think I was wrong. I told them it's ok if they ran out of salmon but they said no we don't have any. They were silenced once they saw the menu said it. How does a manager not know they have an item ?!?!? This time the costumer was right. I will never be going back. And the food tasted bad anyways. WISH I COUKD GIVE 0 starts

Horrible food. Horrible service. Wouldn’t fee a stray cat this food. (Ordered Chinese) never again. Took a ride to get there because of these “good reviews”. It was completely dead inside.
