I had the worst game of my life, but no fault of theirs lol. The sad traps aren't kept up but I liked the course overall. I walked and it was only like $10 for 9 holes. Great value.
I have played this course off and on for a few decades and have seen several changes. Some of the reviews are a bit hypercritical, IMO. This is not an expensive country club, but rather a nice golf club out in the country. The rural area will not support exorbitant green fees and padded overhead. I think the owners do well, addressing issues each year, as far as upkeep and improvements. I love this place. If you're looking for country club golf this isn't it. It is a beautiful working man's course. Some improvements need to be made and they are working on it. The greens and fairways are well kept. Fantastic views from several high points around the course. I drive 35 miles to play there and always enjoy the experience. Friendly staff and a fun challenging course for the average golfer.
