They have a goofy business model in a fun little, dog friendly town. Not allowing customers on their OUTDOOR patio with their canine companions. I rarely run into such an ignorant restaurant in a tourist destination like this.

As usual Big woods comes through. I have been here without the family many times for work. Brought the family this time and it was just awesome. Food was fast and delicious. Server was awesome. Beer was cold. Loved it.

This was our second trip and probably our last. We ordered an expensive signature Smokehouse 10" pizza. It had a good flavor but was mostly crust, cheese & BBQ sauce. Allegedly, there was pulled pork & smoked chicken. But we didn't see much. Had a great blood orange yellow dwarf beer. The highlight. Had cheese bread too, crust with cheese. Good, but nothing special. It didn't have much flavor. Our server, Jack, was great & friendly. Not a bad experience. Just expensive for ok food.

We went on a Thursday and the special was buy one large pizza get a large cheese for free. I asked our server to help me choose between 2 pizzas and he offered to do the pizza half and half. We did half Primal (meat lovers) and half gyro . I love to try different pizzas and the gyro was my choice. My husband was not sold on the idea but by the end I think we both wished we had done the whole pizza as a gyro. I think they these were probably the best pizzas we had gotten out in a long time. I would have happily ate it for lunch the next day. Atmosphere was great, too cold for the outdoor seating but I think it would be enjoyable also. All said and done, by the time we finished, my husband was discussing where we would open a Big Woods pizza in our hometown if we could.
