If you go to Nashville you HAVE to go to Hard Truth. The property is beautiful, the restaurant is amazing, and the tasting room was phenomenal. Servers and bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Will be one of our first stops when we come back!!!

Our friends invited us to this place for lunch. We loved it. We had great drinks and food. The place is huge! Lots of seating available. We went during Black Friday. We had lunch indoors. It's a beautiful lodging style of whiskey distillery. I had the smoked turkey sandwhich and chai cocktail.

We did the smallest tour. First time on the grounds. The property is beautiful. That parking is a whole other thing......but the property is beautiful. I can only review the bar/tasting area; that's where we went to wait for our tour. It's chaotic, to say the list. It was the day we were there. Not a lot of direction. We've done several distillery tours; this was mediocre at best. We plan to come back to the area and to this business. The property is beautiful.

This 2 stars is for the Haunted ATV ride. It was utterly disappointing. We have done the regular ATV ride during the day and it was great. We were so excited to bring friends this time for the Haunted ride and it was sad. We stopped the first time at a cabin and were told to go in. Someone banged on the windows then we got back on the ATV to go to a small bar that’s setup outside to have a shot of “zombie juice” where a couple of zombies ran towards us. We got back on and then that was it! We were given a drink ticket from our driver who said it was for any cocktail. We go inside and the waiter says that it’s for a certain drink only and she’s closing down the bar, so she won’t make anything else. $45 per person for a maybe 20 min ride after we started 17 minutes later. Again, this is just for the Haunted ATV ride. The food and regular cocktails earn at least 4 stars.

This place is amazing. The pork chops were some of the best we have tasted. Grilled perfectly and still very moist. Service started off a bit rough but improved quickly. I had asked what size the burger was and the waitress told me that I was the second person that week to ask her that question and she didn't know. Anyway their drinks are also great. I had a coconut pina colada that was delicious. The restaurant is huge and has a lot of character. It does have an outdoor patio that has a wonderful view of the forest and their concert area.It also has some trails you can walk around and a tasting room. Their cinnamon vodka is a must if you like cinnamon. Their cream liquors are also delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

We just visited hard truth distilling for the first time and only sat in the restaurant area as we were with our two young children our check in time was 6;30 but got seated at 6 our server was very nice we ordered pulled pork nachos, chilli and Nashville hot sandwich pulled pork nachos were delicious portion size could be a bit bigger , chilli was just so so liquidy and not very flavorful and Nashville chicken sandwich was literally fried ball of chicken and sauce ok side and coleslaw on patty . Hubby ordered old fashion whisky and we ordered a cookie skillet was delicious but small portion . It was beautiful inside and a lot to see if you come early during day

Such a cute place! I had no idea this existed. Just outside of brown county state park this huge beautiful distillery exists. The service was great. I wish I knew his name but he was very attentive and friendly and one of the girls. We got to taste some of their products. Their creams are delicious. I liked the sweet mash. The burger was good and fries with ranch. Good ranch! They have quite the selection of NA drinks. Beautiful property. Their tasting room was separate and the bar tender there wasn't as friendly but also down to business. It was a little busy in there at times and only person working the bar.

Slap me silly...we had such a good time doing the ATV tour and dining at their on site restaurant. Shout out to Michael for being our hero and getting us on the ATV tour after a mix up error we made in setting up our reservations. After learning Michael was a fairly new employee, we were dumbfounded because he was so knowledgeable; attentive; and personable. Thank you so much again, Michael. The tour was so fun! Riding up and down through the hills on the property to the stops where we tasted quite a few samples of the distillery's offerings paired with some unique commentary at each stop, incredible! After the tour, we ventured over to the on-site restaurant for a great selection of sandwiches, etc. some of the best sweet tea in Indiana, I might add.

I'm happy we finally made it down here... the space is stellar and so much larger than I expected! I ended up getting some pork nachos with a beer flight and the wife got a pulled pork grilled cheese type thing.. the weather was perfect so we opted to sit out on the patio and overlook the outdoor area/amphitheater. they had some music in the background and just a great overall space. My nachos were decent sized for the price and had a reasonable amount of pork and toppings. the pulled pork grilled cheese was similar but the fries were a bit mushy/old. It was more than enough food tho, so not a big deal. I enjoyed the flight of beers as i love to sample a few different beers instead of committing to one big beer. our server was super friendly and all over every aspect of things. its bee season, so they were a bit annoying, but she brought us a couple extra coasters to cover up sweet items that may attract them.. in our haste to leave and pick up the kids I forgot my credit card. the server snagged me as we were walking out and returned it. It pays to tip well for great service! thank you!!

HIGHLY recommend the ATV tours! Such a fun activity! Loved taking a tour around the sprawling acreage in Nashville. The tour guides were amazing and we loved each scenic stop to try out various hard truth samples. We got to try moonshine, whiskey, beer and gin! You end with a commemorative glass and then can hang out at the restaurant and enjoy live music outdoors! So much to do and a great summer weekend activity! We went for a bachelorette party and it was so fun and something new! The food is also delicious and quick easy service!

First timer at hard truth and had the full experience! We started at the restaurant, and were lucky enough to sit outside. The covered balcony is absolutely gorgeous and perfect to avoid being in direct sunlight. You get to look out on all the trees and a stage - beautiful! The drinks were great. I absolutely recommend the lemonade with coconut rum, it was refreshing and delicious. The food was also great! Their bacon is amazing!!The only downside was our service. We had a hard time finding our server to order anything and the timing wasn't great - we ordered a second round of drinks at the start of our meal and didn't receive them until we had finished eating (about 20 minutes). We'll definitely be back to see if it was just an off day service wise.

Enjoyed the tour.

First I called over a dozen times and never got an answer, just sent to a voice mailbox that was full. When I left 2 messages at the group mailbox none where returned. The website has hours to 8 pm. We got there at about 6:45 and the lights were off and the sign in the window said open until 6 pm Sun-Thur. What a letdown after driving do almost 2 hours. If there was going to be a next time I would know to get there earlier. I did not sign up for a tour on the website as I have seen a few distilleries an all have been similar, so no need to see another.I will say the poorest customer service I and hitting it quite some time. On the web hard truth is listed as a tourist vattraction, how true. Distillery was not used and now I know why. Very disappointed.
