Layne's service was excellent. His recommendations were spot on. Also, he proactively texted me when we left a birthday gift at our table after a wonderful evening.

One of my favorite places. Food is always good, service is great and the conditions of the restaurant are spot on. French onion is great and the steaks are fantastic...add in a little camus and your good to go.

Visited here recently for the first time after hearing nothing but good things so we had to try it out. They atmosphere was really nice and the staff that we encountered were amazing! Our Waiters name was Layne, he was great, probably the best service we have had in a very long time! The food took over a hour to come out which sucked (but Layne kept us informed which was very nice!) When it came out both steaks were pretty dry and didn't have much flavor ? but TG for A1 sauce lol. So for the price I was really disappointed. We probably won't return due to our experience with the food.

Had a 515pm reservation, our waiter took about 20 minutes to get to us, said he was busy, ordered lobster bisque, fish of the day and prime rib, waited over a hour to get our food, the prime rib was horrible looking and stringy, they brought another same way,my sister who's bday it was was done before I finally got a filet, it was okay, terrible

Hello my name is Donald and Wife Jesseska. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. Shot out to Bradley who waited on our table. He did a amazing job understanding what we wanted to make my wife's birthday dinner successful. 5star Bradley

Love the atmosphere! But it was a busy night and the wait was long. Food came cold. We were too hungry to send it back. My steak was well done and I wanted medium. I know this was not the normal service we receive. Just disappointed.

I ordered chicken. It was tasteless and so very dry. I actually spit 2 bites out in fear of choking. I did not eat but maybe 4 bites. I told waiter. He said I should of ordered more sauce for dipping. Shouldn't have to for a $40 piece of chicken. My husband got filet which was awesome. We ordered lobster Mac n cheese and it was good and plenty to share.

Alison is th best server. Very attentive, kind and helpful. Food is always GREAT! It's the perfect date night spot. This is the qnd time we have won enough money in the casino to pay for our entire meal. Really makes for a good night!

Excellent evening to celebrate Valentine's Day. Excellent special-Dinner for Two, that made high end dining more affordable. Service was excellent and the breadbasket with various butter spreads is amazing. The menu keeps it simple but everything is very good and the service is always friendly and timely. One of our favorite spots in the area

I booked this for Valentines because I had heard their creme brulee was amazing. Unfortunately I sent the first one back because the sugar was burnt, like black burnt. I tried to eat it, and found the custard to be warm, and delicious but couldn't get passed the burnt taste. I ended up sending it back and got a new one. The new one had the perfect golden brown sugar but the custard tasted like it was still defrosting. Absolutely bummed about not getting a good creme brulee. With that said I will say the rest of the food was damn near perfect and amazing.

We usually enjoy eating at Copper Rock in New Buffalo but decide to try the one in South Bend. The steak was suppose to be medium rare and it was completely raw in the middle. We had to send it back. We enjoy the Creme Brulee and since it was Valentines day ordered it to go. We were shocked at how small the dish was and it did not even contain any fruit topping. The dish it came is was smaller than a coffee cup lid and for $9 it was not worth it. Plus the waitress said absolutely no substitutions on the special yet I heard other waitresses tell their customers they can pick what they want and but there might be an upcharge. We probably will not eat in Copper Rock at South Bend again.

Had a wonderful meal at the Copper Rock Steakhouse! Start with the variety of breads and spreads and they are a hit. We chose the filet mignon off the pre fixe menu which gives you a starter, main course with two sides and dessert. Everything was amazing and so was our server Bradley. Nice wine selections as well.

Service was tremendous. We were warmly greeted, the bread course was explained, and our server was thorough and genuine! Atmosphere is top notch! The lobster bisque and french onion soup were impeccable, and the crab cakes were great. My filet was overcooked which was disappointing, they did offer me a new one but I politely declined (the filet was still very good, just not cooked to my preference). Will be back ?

Our server, Layne, had great wine and dessert recommendation. The atmosphere was very nice and you couldn't tell that the loud casino was outside. Portion size was also generous for the price.
