My first time here with my daughters and a friend. Ally was our server and she made us feel super important and took real good care of us. We had drinks and cheese/charcuterie boards. The atmosphere is delightful and I look forward to coming back here again soon.Vegetarian options: Bartender/server happily made accommodation for needing no meat on one tray
tonights experience was not pleasant. our bartender was great- but being accused of not paying a bill when the card was not ran, was absurd considering the rest of the party paid at the same time and their card was ran accordingly. For being a “GM” she needs to learn better customer service.

Better bars and service in the area. Arrogant vibe from the staff. Drinks are average, not bad but pricey. Whiskey selection is average at best. Hammer and Quill a few blocks down on Jefferson has a much better selection. Great atmosphere as far as decor, etc. Bottom line question, would I return…No. would go to Hanmer and Quill based on offerings and service.

I came in on a Wednesday after finding this place on Google. Dakota made me an amazing Old Fashion and gave me a rundown on the history of the building and the city of South Bend. Showed me an old bank vault. Service was great. Cool stuff. Recommend this place for a nice, laid back, speakeasy type of environment.

Terrible service. I waited for more than 20 minutes for someone to take my order and no one did. I had to leave the place. Just to be clear, the bar was 60% occupied. It’s a shame that such a beautiful place got a terrible service.

We were excited to try Exhange Bar and stopped in on 12/02/2023. There was no sign advising wait to be seated or seat yourself. We sat ourselves and waited 20 minutes, and despite numerous servers walking by us and looking right at us, we received neither a menu, water, or any form of service. Finally, we went to the bar and ordered drinks. After waiting another 30 minutes and being completely ignored and receiving no drinks or any sort of service we left. All of the staff was black and attended to the black patrons but seemed to be intentionally ignoring us. Extremely disappointed in this establishment.
