There are dedicated breakfast hours. It would be quite beneficial to your patrons to have this clearly posted on your Google page. It's a college town and you're going to get a lot of visitors that are not familiar with your business, or city. I chose this location to specifically get avocado toast. Upon arrival I'm told I can't get this. Even though I can get a sandwich...with toast...and avocado. I suggest to the employee at the counter that the Google page be updated and got a bit if an eyeroll and definitely got some attitude.All that aside, I decided to stay since I drove all the way here.The food and coffee are GREAT.I would come back, even with the annoyance of not being able to get what I came specifically for.Also, GPS will probably put you behind the deli. Parking is up front, off the street.

Staff are great, location is greater and food is greatest! One of the families favorite spot for a quick sandwich or coffee for a walk in the park. Soups are fantastic too but make sure to get there early cause they may run out by end of day.Parking: Street parking is often available but sometimes requires a bit of a stroll. No problem in warmer months.

I love The General! Such a cool place. Indoor and outdoor seating (when the weather is nice). Again, weather-permitting, it's one of the few places in South Bend where you can sit outside to eat. For breakfast, I'm a big fan of their lox bagel *or* the avocado egg & toast (the radishes, arugula, and poppy seeds are a nice touch)! I must also add: the egg is ALWAYS cooked perfectly. For lunch, I absolutely LOVE the Kibbler. Phenomenal sandwich. The side of chips is tasty, but I sometimes like to upgrade to a hummus plate with celery and carrots. The hummus is great! The staff are also incredibly friendly! I love the cooks, too. Everyone has a great sense of humor. Artist-friendly atmosphere. And, it might sound odd, but if you want to see something really cool, check out the bathroom floor when you have a chance. The General is a South Bend staple!

Awesome calming place with wicked vibes and artwork and people. Great food and coffee, servers are friendly and chatty but in the best way. They made me love chai lattes and they have amazing murals outside that are worth looking at. Reuben Sandwich and bagels are good
